Why "gräfin" ?
Neptune not letting you tribute is probably like an attempt to balance the card as you can't se the resulting card for a tribute. But it turned into protection lol.
It's the same thing that happened to eater.
Most likely to prevent a weird Saturn loop once you are 2k LP ahead

also the shadoll beast is for sending on branded fusion to recoup a card when getting the light fusion
Yeah, it's meant as another send target in case sending anything else doesn't get you anything, making winda does also come up from time to time to get more tribute fodder and a floodgate.
And it also chainblocks the lubellion, whih is nice in a format where people are unironically playing haunted mansion.
@@grafinakaasu9048 yeah that's why I main deck Shaddoll Beast as a tech in my branded despia. Helps out a lot when you run out of Tragedy and need a good dark target. Also really helpful in the mirror match since the deck is so good at playing mid-range.

Its awesome to see you showcasing one of the modern extra deck monarch builds. We've been working on a bunch in the monarch discord, including this deck as well as both dogmatika and isolde variants of mega zaborg. Were even testing a version of mega zaborg that uses splights and searches it with small world.

Scaraclaw is actually a good engine for branded monarch cuz if you draw double summon + branded opening + full monarch combo and a scareclaw starter you could actually maybe do something good

Interesting reminds me of a real old build that I think was outdated called earth monarchs. Used earth monsters with support and able to synchro for beast and bark.

You should put in Ad Libitum and at least one Branded in Red with a Guardian Chimera in ED. Maybe a Tragedy, too. It can help extend the deck.

This deck is really really cool, I actually started playing extra deck monarchs again when pantheism came back to 3 and everyone was saying domain was the only way to play the deck, at the time I was playing tzolkin monarchs with a few modern additions like seleglare in place of kuraz and playing pair a dice smasher as an extremely cope turn 1 play, now I currently play brave monarch because there's a few synergies between brave and monarch as well as things that synergize really well with both sides of the deck like magicians souls. Really love seeing that someone else still loves extra deck monarch as much as I do.

Branded monarch is all good and well, but you need to check out Branded Springans. Springans Kitt just happens to be a springans monster. It's performing well.

Zaborg is an unreal blowout card especially against things like pile or swordsoul.

Neptune makes your Agent immune to tributing for the turn to prevent Saturn from becoming a Win Con. Otherwise Saturn would guarantee games 2/3

The reason Neptune makes it so you can't tribute the agent you summon is so that you can't use it for Tribute summons. That's literally it.

3.23 would you not of just summoned albion if you where going to tribute the mirrorjade ? And set fusion or search for next turn.
Hi, I love playing monarchs and I am happy they are buffed with your despia solution. Would you still play this way or do some changes?
If you want the best variation of Monarchs, play Domain Monarchs instead of this.
This version loses to basically any combination of two handtraps, Ash Blossom alone is already devastating. Even if it goes off, it doesn't put up board powerful enough to throw away the Lock Domain Monarchs give you. It also just hard-loses going second, to basically everything.
If you correctly build Domain Monarchs, you can consistently play up to nine handtraps/ staples with tribute fodder that doesn't completely lose to handtraps.

Why are you playing Domain if you have cards in your ED?
It can help you with getting out your Monarchs. I still wouldn't play it though.
Branded Fusion is for sure going to get banned. It's fun, but in the Despia Fluffal Variant it's a little bit too busted. Frightfur Patchwork may end up getting limited simply just because of that deck.
