I know about the zapper parry, IT'S SO SWEET TO DO, however i didn't really use that often in Kaub as i'm not fully experienced in parrying them, i just hold the shove until it attacks, but to time it right, i don't have that skill yet.
*pro tip on being a good sapper in kaub:* instead of focusing on attacking with axe,stun it and rebuild.(because teammates will kill it).If shortage on manpower,stun and melee then rebuild.(repeat) whenever there's priest cruxing,build barricades as below as possible use grenades when nessecary depending on teammates situation(either getting overrunned or shortage of melee users) always pay attention to bombers and igniter,retreat back for bombers and go to the corner(use water if not equipped grenades) always rush fowards when there's a chance to rebuild barricades(cuz 90% of the time when getting pushed,it's not gonna help the teammates survive longer) *pro tip on being good gunners:* have decend aiming skills(none have good aiming) charge when nessecary(if sapper having difficult on rebuilding or there's too much hordes)(as officer) always pay attention to your surrounding shoot bombers when there's light sources(and igniter to kill runners in temp time) *pro tip as line infantry:* (pike players slow fire rate anyways) always aim at the head undrstand the mechanics(the bayonet is an area of damage so aim it on the musket,not the center point) shoot when nessecary(if gunners are reloading) *pro tip as chaplin* (no need i guess if someone is that dumb to die quick unless it's friendly fire) crux depending on situation(hordes,overrunned or tight corridor) use stake as a life saving weapon,not damage dealer in stair,direction is at south since it will guarenteed headshot notify everyone when cruxing don't crux if bombers/igniter is coming
I'm a sapper main 1:28 this whole clip where i am all by myself holding the entire back and everyone was focused on pushing the cart, i had to do the thing of shove, kill, repair. I'm starting to get the technique of shoving, killing and rebuilding, but i still choke sometimes.. or often... I do see alot of oppurtunities to build barricades, however most of the time other players are obstructing my progress to building. With the grenade part. I often use them when there's too big of a horde to handle, but i am not experienced enough to perfectly time them for maximum efficiency I don't have a chaplain unlocked because i need to heal 30 players, but i kinda don't want myself to be a support person, but more an offense guy (sapper) That bayonet tip is good, i am still trying to really use it when i am not playing as a sapper. Pro move for sapper, if you just hold the shove against a Zapper you will parry his swing. Also, as a brother in Pike i reccomend it
