Yes you can use 2 100mm heat sinks and attach them using nuts & bolts and two small pieces of 4mm acrylic sheet from the sides. You can also use a 12 inch x 100mm (minimum) heat sink. The cooling procedure will work better if you use a larger heat sink. You can also search the markets where electronic products and LED lights are sold.

Yes, you’ll need a much larger heatsink and more cooling fans in order to maximize the cooling of the hot side of Peltier modules. The cooler the hot side of the Peltier is kept, the better the device will be able to cool the aquarium water. no, you can't run this 24/7. That's why the thermostat is important. If you build it, make sure to test it for a few days on a 40 liter bucket before freezing your fish. The wattage of the fan depends on the fan you buy. The energy requirement depends on many factors, especially how much heat needs to be dissipated, the room temperature (for peltier efficiency) and many other things. If this thing works at all, it should be enough for a 40l tank in a 30°C room.

So when we put both the peltier modules together it should be connected to 20 Amp output or when both the peltier module and both the cpu fans to be wired in parallel together and then hooked on to tge 20 Amp output ?
Yes, first connect all positive wires (usually red) of the Peltier modules and fans and connect to the positive terminal (+) of the SMPS, and negative wires (usually black) to the negative terminal (-). Thank you.
I am having 12 Liter nano tank and my room temperature is 29-30 approx. Can I use one peltier and the item mentioned in description to reduce my tank temperature to 25 degree celsius?
The system in the video would be powerful enough. But 12 liter is not much water. You need to be really careful in putting this together and tuning it. And even then, you may have issues, for example to keep the system watertight, and to neither overflow the tank nor suck it dry.

At 7:26 you have set the P0 to Cool function, at 7:45 you have set the temperature to 25 degree and the machine starts its function. It shuts down when it reaches 25 degree. In which function do we need to set the trigger temperature to switch it ON again?

Never mind got the answer. Max current draw will be around 10A for this setup, so 15A socket it is. As for the copper cooling block, while it is more efficient, copper is harmful for fish and shrimp

Hi, I have used 2 peltier modules and 2 12v high rpm fans for better cooling and one water pump but the thermostat temperature keeps fluctuating for the set temperature and the device keeps turning on and off, is the problem with thermostat or something else??
