That Casio ring is sweet, That's a 6 piece collection, I ordered one collection too, just like a little gift for my watchmaker 😀 I remember that Casiotron, even tough they was rare. But I remember digital Marlins a lot more, that thing is still today beautiful for me (that's maybe a reason why I got one of those). I'm not sure, but I think that light stays on as long as you holding the button, which is absolutely great. good video, like
How cool. I’ve got a 1979 (or prior) Casio “computer watch” which has been used very little, with box and warranty.these pieces are like mini time machines. Thanks for this video!
My oldest, is a 60QR-22 from 1976. Everything works, and it's in excellent condition, including the original crystal and bracelet. Only bad spot, is a nasty scratch on the case back where someone probably slipped trying to open it.
I'm not to keen on gold looking watches but I got a 'Timex Q Reissue' a few weeks back in gold(the Silver ones are sold out now) :( & I love it(probably because its such a cool looking Watch(the display) :P & I only really like Casio watches normally) :D + isn't there a way to get rid of the light scratches on these old watches & get rid of the scratches on the back of them to(well I have seen a few videos on TH-cam but im to scared to try) :D Excellent video as always to ;)
In the early 70's digital watches were something very special. Not the cheap resin ones that everyone takes for granted nowadays. I always keep an eye open for early digitals when visiting antique and flea markets. You might regret it if you sell it.
