I can give you two cheep solutions to hot water in the desert, you should be able to find these used at army surplus stores and shouldn't cost more then a few hundred $. The first is a lister bag, I have used one as a mobil shower more the once. They are dark green and will heat up a few hundred gallons in a few hours in the summer. The second is an us army gas powered immersion heater it will boil a 55 gallon drum in about 10 min.
couldn't agree more, my dad's side of the family has on off grid compound pretty much and most of it is powered by military surplus equipment (partly due to when it was built, but mostly because that's what they trust)

Don’t forget to get a commercial vibrator to settle that concrete once you lay it. That is if you haven’t yet. Also are you going to run any PVC through that concrete between the rebar for your electrical? Hit me up if you have any questions.

What about doing solar for hot water? Take advantage of that AZ sun. Push your cold water through 100' of black 1" pipe and hot water comes out the other end. That is how I heat water at our cabin.

why wait for her to come outta prison? do it now! better with her not there yet, u can start and have something started and ready when she comes out.. plus, u shud never base ur life and plans around waiting for someone in prison to come out.. the chances of a relationship succeeding after prison, is so damn low.. ;/ so if u want it to work, u gotta put in the work and moves first yourself, and not make it dependent on others.. my humble opinion. (maybe like 2 outta 100 folks relationships, continue long and good after prison. ive seen too many folks heartbroken, over my years in prison, and then seeing stories and folks from both sides, while on probation.)

I drove to Arizona and lived on BLM land north of Tuscon for 4 months out of my Corolla. It was a great mental reset.

I think just for starters Lowes or Ace would be smart to get you doing some V.O. for their spots. Appreciate your DIY home building as well, really great how you keep it moving and hit the important points. Would love some pointers on building the support system underneath a porch or deck. No one really goes under them with enough detail. Do you use pre poured concrete squares or pour your own, how deep. Do you use pressure treated wood or this Trex stuff? Thanks again for the vids and I'm watching!

I grew up in that heat, I lived in your area and Bullhead city, I hated it lol. But hey you got some land congratulations, I hope its everything you wanted. This was my first video and you didn't disappoint. It's wild, I moved away from that area to have like a dozen youtubers move into my birth place lol
