    Haha wow! Love it! I've asked friends who play jazz for help before, and they all simply said you just kind of pick it up. Having mostly played classical piano, I had a feeling that somewhere there was sheet music with simple drills that later can be mixed and matched. And here they are, ready to be internalized :)

    Love these lessons. You are a great teacher. I love how you start with some simple comping and build. Thank you for offering the pdf's and audio for free! It was so creative the way you used tritone substitution in this song.

    Hi.These are very good lessons, different approaches, harmony, great work. Cool musician. Could you use a piano roll past the notes I think it would be easier at some point in terms of eyes.

    Hi Stijn! What does an “x” note head mean? Like At 0:22 over the F7 on the “and “ of 3. Thanks!

      Hi, it’s the notation for a “ghost note”: a note or a chord you don’t hear, but is implied or played very soft..
