pulse mr mime was a cool fight because instead of being this omega nuke that fucks you over it enables its allies to fuck you over by giving everything wonder guard and effectively giving everything priority on all their moves thanks to instruct shenanigans and its astronomical 252 base speed which i of course abused by using ditto to copy the pulse and gave all of my guys wonder guard and instruct support lol
I didn't think to use ditto, I used perish song then got 2 swords dances on exadrill before my mismagius, the mr mime and arotemise (spelt wrong sorry) fainted then swept with exadrill
I love how the Pokemon Reborn game-makers slowed this theme down to fit the battle it was used in. Also, I first fought that battle one day before Halloween, so yeah, I was a little rattled by the end of it.

My +6 quiver dance Volcarona one shoted the electivire after the aromatisse died of leech seed and my mega gardevoir +3 calm mind moonblasted him. It survived two turns but it tried to give wonder guard to every new ennemy and intstead gave it to my gardevoir
Even after well over a year, I can safely say creepypasta’s ain’t got shit on Master Mime. Those opening sprites are just….yeah. This is all especially creepy if you subscribe to the theory that Connal is still alive during the battle. The dude was a horrible person, but still, going out as a puppet for some twisted monster is pretty fucked
I know this thing is just for the pulse mon mega evolve and you just dont catch them, but, is creepy the message "Doctor sigmund and pulse mike want to battle!" Is like, pulse mime is something more different than the other pulses, it make her own mind, like mr snuggles
Spoilers ahead but if you’re listening to this, you’re probably already aware of it. So the current theory is that either A: Lin let her Hydreigon maul Sigmund. B. Lin kicked Sigmund in the PULSE-machine and turned it on. Or. C. Lin let PULSE-Mr.Mime have its way. Which theory sounds more plausible for Sigmund’s fate?
Honestly B sounds more logical. The pulse was already shut down by bennet (and I know I didn't pronounced it right) and laura, and I assume the Master Mime was put out of the pulse too so Lin could have easily put him there. Also, considering she told Sigmund that "he might feel a little shock" we can kind of understand that she electrocuted him using the pulse sheer power that the pokemons inside it are always suffering and will likely die later because of it. And lets not talk about the fact that Lin was at his orphanage, getting his "therapy" multiple times. So this is simply a revenge
I’d think A actually, based on the state of sigmund’s sprite in this scene. He seems to have been mauled by something, probably being electrocuted to death by the PULSE.

Mega Lopunny made this battle a breeze. A few Power-Up Punches and that Mr. Mime was done for. Then it just became 2v1ing the rest of Connal's team.
I spent like 10 minutes chipping down its health with an underleveled alolan ninetails, only to realize that my excadrill had mold breaker 🫠

My headcanon is that the Mr Mime has Wonder Guard because it is creating impenetrable barriers around itself.
I used ditto to transform into the Mime and pp stalled it like a gen 1 ubers match.
