Most exciting thing about Into the Light is easily that the Hunter is using Midnight Coup and the Warlock is using Blast Furnace, which you can tell from the unique shape of the indent on its barrel.

I’m generally curious how into the light has 3 streams worth of content. I can see 1 for the activity, another for the loot, maybe a concept one about Into the Light, or reprised content. Not sure, definitely has me curious.

tbf... the tower in the concept art IS repaired.
There are at least 3 iirc, but only the d1 tower had the vanguard's offices and all the major big deal stuff. The others are (I think) housing for the factions, guardians, and / or their ships.

The outer wall has 4 (1 of which is the old D1 tower, 1 that houses the halls of the orders of titans, and another one where Lysander and the Concordat was defeated after their coup attempt), the city proper has 3 scattered through the districts (2 of which house the halls of the orders of warlocks and hunters), and the central district of the city has 1 that houses the consensus.
There are 2 towers that we still don't know what they serve as (it's likely that one of them houses the headquarters for the city forces, but that is not confirmed).
1 (potentially 2) towers were destroyed during the Red War after many districts of the city were blown to the ground, so it's possible that some of the known towers might have been destroyed.
As far as we know, we only have confirmation of the D1 tower still standing (although damaged), the warlock's tower standing (as some lore mentions it, post Red War), and the tower of the Consensus standing (as per visual confirmation, since it's near the center and can be seen in the skybox).
Look in game There's cranes all over the place doing construction work on the old tower. And i swear Theres more there than there was back in year 1

Nothing worse than Void Titan crutch players.
As a titan main even I find bubble titans annoying in crucible, but that is mainly because of location focused modes like control. While I know the new void super coming in final shape probably won't get rid of them the number will hopefully shrink.

4:21 the emblem looks similar to a moon cycle, so maybe the red subclass has something to do with one of the moon's mythical affiliations. Most of those would also fit with the darkness subclasses themes; strand being reality, and stasis being emotion. Maybe the red subclass is death, spirits, or omens.

you're going to have to wait till TFS drop for it to be enhanceable but then there might be even better weapons then.

Concept art shows friendly Cabal Turrets & a tower pvp map background. Enhanced traits will be like adept mods, mods drop from raids & tougher content.

Last time they did multiple live streams to reveal some thing was Age of Triumph in Destiny one which was the last major update of the game and was so awesome. Keeping that in mind it’s got me wondering what guns, armour, and content may be making a return.
If we can’t trust the concept art to tell us more about the potential new activity then we also cannot trust midnight coup and blast furnace to come back. Personally, i believe the new activity will be in the last city
It's very likely. Because it follows the same marketing direction that seasonal concept art does. Which are always accurate to the content shown.

Why would they buff stasis as we're getting new Light Class Supers, Aspects and Fragments?
Until they rework how Freezing works Stasis is going to be shit in PVE

Those weapons they listed were all originally going to be part of the FS, so this is probably going to be something on all new drops going forward, a soft sunsetting 2.0(origin traits were like a 1.2 patch). Episode weapons will most likely remain craftable since they will go away, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see the end of craftable raid weapons
Removing craftable raid weapons would be a huge mistake.

This is why GG is not to be taken seriously. All 3 classes were made to be different for a reason. Each excel at something the others lack. All while being controlled by every individual player. So you're not just comparing the alrdy pre-destines classes and abilities, but you're also comparing player to player skills.
There is no objective that truly displays which class is better than the other especially when each of them can use the same weapons to achieve said goals.
The only thing different about each class are the Exotic Armors, supers, the aspects, the class abilities, and melee abilities.
Not much competition there.
Builds wouldn't count in a true class vs class activity. Again, flawed event gaslit by players that have their main character biases.

With the concept art it looks like we are gonna have some sort of horde mode because there are sentry turrets in them too showing that u can get defenses and stuff

Weapon crafting is best framed as bad luck protection; dungeons weapons not being craftable is such a fucking L, I hate farming dungeons for hours and getting nothing good. At least with getting a pattern or two I feel like I made progress toward eventually getting a good roll
I guess the green emblem is a reference to crow and mara and if you look closely to the red emblem you see a timer in it, could be a reference to the first episode "echoes".
For me, I’d like to see the rest of the foundry weapons in the loot pool: more Tex Mechanica weapons, Daito, Crux/Lomar, Bkack Armory, MIDA. If the wallpaper at the top is anything to go by, maybe we’re getting a Last City location and battleground? I’d love that! There’s also been rumors that the old Tower may come back. I’d love to see new vendors there. Maybe it becomes a netting place for Coalition leaders and a new Consensus.

The question I have with those weapons being Enhanceable is what happens to multiple perk weapons like the Hullabaloos we’re getting or the Adept weapons from Trials or GMs? Can you enhance both perks? Or will the multiples get deleted when you choose your enhanced perks?

3:07 something of note regarding the pyramids above the tower in the concept art, not all the pyramids went in the traveler, there are still the 3-4 pyramids concerning Rhulks, Nezarecs, the one on the moon, as well as the first ship the traveler shot with the light beam (the one it shoots right before Nezarecs in the opening light fall cutscene). On top of this, if you go to patrol in Neomuna in the area with Calus' ship, you can actually see some pyramids super high in the sky above the Calus head, if I remember correctly there's like 5-ish there as well, and only the pyramids that formed the shape around the traveler went inside. Going back to the red war final cutscene that revealed the pyramids as well as others that have shown the dark fleet, there are dozens if not hundreds of pyramids and only like 10 went inside the traveler, so it is 100% possible that there are more pyramids we just haven't encountered yet.
2 days in a row now for titans. Its still a hill to climb but its still possible boys. We're also about to win the focus activity again.

I hate having to GRIND for weapons. The fact that I have to get multiple red boarders to unlock them which for me takes several weeks, is already annoying to me. FOR ME if we have to go back to absolute shit show of grinding out all weapons I will just quit the game. That gameplay loop isn't fun to me even in the slightest. ONTOP of all of that the fact that there are PVE God roll weapons that only come from PVP isn't great design either

Yeah in all activities, seriously if welllocks didnt exist the world of PvE would consist of strand, void, and solar titan would just dominate. Depsite having the lowest amount of actually good exotics, the kits are so bloated anyways. I wished Bungie balanced like they do with hunters, feel like they have some expression which is nice.

As a warlock main I mostly agree, bar a few nasty strand,stasis and void combo's, Titan's I find to be more annoying to deal with, there's a new thing going around with Arc Titan's especially that's annoying

If people held onto any extra shards after trying to liquidate them might be a good idea to hold onto some. Maybe they will work those into an optional cost of enhancing the perks. Probably not, but some people have so many maybe they will make it an option. Even tho they said they are going away, they sure haven’t stopped giving them to us in piles. 🤷🏻♂️
they already removed it from a lot of things so i doubt legendary shards will escape the DCV.

It’d be cool if enhanced perks worked like d1 weapons did where you get weapon xp to unlock the enhanced perk on that weapon
If this ends up being the D2 equivalent of Titanfall 2's Frontier Defense mode, then imma gonna PLOTZ!!!
Hold up, keep crafting alive, but you unlock perks for specific weapons as you roll perks on that weapon and disassemble that weapon, and you unlock the craftable enhanced perks once you enhance the perk and disassemble said weapon
I hope that they make all dungeon loot retroactively enhancable and nkt just prophecy and that this is just a limited test.
I worry for the potential ‘building the tower’ quest where we fight and earn rewards as a community goal…it’ll be a repeat of when we gathered funds for the Eliksni quarter and we’ll reached the end goal in 24 hours with a glitch 🤣
i just hope, that ill be able to enhance the ones i have already, cuz took me 200 runs to get a 5/5 submachine from prophecy
