Well Jay I definitely found the gentlemen who will do my shocks at the point I need them, I will definitely will recommend you to others too. Yet I still want to get hands on with building shocks as well, since that is one aspect of a racecar I enjoy is the shock tuning.
Running a sanction where i am limited to steel body shock, Fox, Integra, Bilstein, penske or DIG brands. With you're knowledge of these company's product, what would you recommend as the best option. Northeast dirt modified, most commonly on very black dry slick
1st let me ask if BSB would be legal? and we have been trying to get approved in some of those classes. Answer Bilstein, because they are 46mm and easy to work with parts are interchangeable with others. Fox is also 46mm but harder to get parts for, I do believe Pat is from that area and supplies parts for that shock so it maybe available.
Maybe your can do a shock building school on here teaching how to build shocks and what to use and why

Please do! and thanks
Can you elaborate on a LR high pressure blow off shock.
This is a big subject to much to type, if you could conform it down to a more of a pacific qeustion.

Hey Jay, Is a base valve mostly used for the compression stroke?
Yes, it gives the compression stroke something to push against allowing you to have a low gas pressure and decreasing lag time in the shock.
Jay is there a phone # to call i have left messages with my # look forward to speaking with you
Thanks for call sir.
