I wish those that think farmers are dumb would watch your videos and see just how great intelligence a farmer has to have. Calculating the feed for each stage of a cow’s life, the amount of and when to plant and fertilize a field, the maintainence and repair of equipment and so much more.
Really enjoy your videos. I can appreciate how hard it must be running the dairy farm. Making vidoes, editing, and having a life. This makes us appreciate you doing this for us. This will be the close as some of us will ever come to going back to a farm. George Deltaville, Va
Please don't stop making videos. You are very talented and entertaining. You wouldn't put a cover over a lit candle......let your light shine and show the world your gifts. You are appreciated.
@@10thgenerationdairyman I get it. I imagine it can be a pain. I love when you "find" the Mt. Dew cans. I laugh everytime. You are very funny and hard working, Be proud of yourself.
Great video Eric, really appreciate you sharing jobs and days on your family farm. That little splash of soda sure will make that triticale grow hahaha, keep up the great work!
Well I don't think PepsiCo will ever sponsor your channel but it would be a good commercial, call it a little dew will dew ya. Lol. You have a great looking farm and the girls always look happy. Keep the videos comin enjoying them 👍 ✌
We usually did the same thing with breeding our dairy cows. We usually had a young "friendly" bull with the heifers who would usually "throw" smaller calves to make it easier on them. Once the bull got ornery, he was turned into steak. When the heifers started into the milking herd, they were all artificially inseminated. Thanks for the video!
Another good video Eric, we use 46% urea( dry form) for our n source - below freezing tonight up here in south central Wisconsin so we’re a bit behind you weather wise- thanks for your video as it’s always interesting how different regions farm a bit differently- god bless you and be safe
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Doing occasional videos like this is cool. Keep us updated on new things. With that Mr. Dew in there I am surprised we didn't see the crop growing taller as you drove over it. Lol. Was that 32% or 28% nitrogen? And does it bother the crop much where the wheel tracks are or does it come back pretty good? Thanks
Okay, isn't that triticale stuff the same stuff that the tribbles ate on Star Trek? Also, I hear you can only get the original formula of kaopectate if you buy the variety used for animals, as the new formulation is not the same as the original at all. And, do they use bag balm around there?
About how much does a Holsten bull cost these days, I did AI in my beef herd and had a clean up bull as well, bulls would cost $1800-3000 depending on genetic line and age.
Im 16 half and wondering if here in the future i could work on ir guys farm. Im planning on get my spraying license my class a and b and might go to ag school

the remember glyphosate pesticides will affect your mood and seem to make farmers more prone to suicide. So If you feel down after spraying or cleaning the sprayer do not be surprised if you feel down, blue, anxious or overwhelmed, angry, it the chemicals messing with your head. Cheers Wayne

Great video enjoy all your videos. Was wondering if you were still helping with the milking
Will be waiting on your next one, keep up the great work.
Thanks yeah I milk 5 times a week. It's the same thing every time so I don't always show it
Cool stuff! Very interesting using the stream bars! What rate controller do you use? Is it the hardi one? And is your pump pro driven or hydraulic?
Been a bit nice to see a vid .no worries .busy time of year. Stay safe
You should explain why you are using the stream bars. Is that to avoid overspray or to reduce leaf burning?
Neat video you should make lots of planting milking and tractor videos
I was over in Lancaster this weekend😉 I saw Jesus at sight and sound🌞👍🏻
That mountain dew will really kickstart the plants and make em grow fast
Definitely
Eric,
Great video. Would you apply herbicides using this same method like Dicamba and roundup?
Does your crop recover from where the tractor wheels ran over it?

How big is your new holland tractor?
You need that Mountain Dew more than that sprayer😂
What is the crop and what do you do with it? Also what happens to all the cop you run over?
Yeah, but did you get whole 80 acres covered or did you come up short?
Love the video, and how many acres do you farm?
Thanks 250
If you walk out into the field one day and find that one of the plants has turned Mountain Dew green, you'll know it was worth it!!!
