Seat Comparison 2022 Ducati HyperMotard 950 SP

- Being a short arse myself and worried about the stock ride height of the SP model (taller than normal model), I did this comparison of the stock seat and the lowered seat you can buy from Ducati.
The lowered seat is £179, and in my opinion worth it for those of us who are vertically challenged. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Having ridden my RVE for a week I have ordered the Ducati lowered seat… pleased to see this post 👍

There's hope for me after all, at 5,7 the tall height over even the std Hyper 950 put me off - but having had a Hyper 796,and 'strada 821, I'd love to have one of these new 950s - such awesome bikes!

I’ve always thought that bike looks so good, and now seeing someone exactly my hight on it with that lower seat it seems quite doable. Speaking of sweet looking bikes, the Husqvarna Nuda 900 is one I’d like to see in person.
I had to take a chance/risk on the Hyper and its height but I loved it too much 👍🏻👍🏻

No problem - the gas cap is made by TWM. Check my other videos on the install 👍🏻

I am 5'-8" and ended up with the lower seat with the Daytona Mstar gtx boots that has 1" insole.

This is the SP model. The seat height on the regular 950 Hypermotard is an inch lower. Put the lowered seat on that and you could put both feet flat on the ground. .
The suspension is raised/higher on the SP hence the extra height of the bike.. which why the lowered seat is so popular.
With a 30in inseam I definitely going to need the lowered seat.

I stopped caring about both feet down on the Hyper. Just one leg down (usually the left). Because if the surface is uneven you will fall when you realize, oh shit, I can't reach the ground! It's happened to me once and that was enough to adjust and just stick to one leg down method.
Hahha.. so true! Happened to me a few times. Slow controlled fall is ok in my eye 😂

What’s the short one like for comfort & can you move backwards & forwards on it. The last gen low seat was horrendous. Thanks
Moving about is still possible and i do it from time to time for a stretch. The comfort is a little harder, but you dont notice it that much..
@@hypermotardking probably just get my seat re covered with better foam when it comes. They also do a racing seat, supposed to be softer.

Bikes have gotten so small, this is a god send! I have one of these on order so my 34" inseam and 6'4"/194cm frame will finally fit "comfortably" on a bike.
With your height you shouldn’t have any problems 👍🏻

I’m 6’ and just put the lowered seat on. Much better for me. Feel I’m sitting more in the bike as opposed to on top of it.

Ducati Dealer or online. Its about £159 I think

You can add any tire tou want.. from knobbly off-road to full on slicks - the bike can do everything
I'm 196 (6'5") and I'm worried to look like a circus bear on the Hypermotard. This prevents me from buying one. What do you think?
The SP does have a taller saddle height when stock.. depends if you want comfort on a Hyper or cramped on a SuperSport?

Lol.. i wouldn’t say its softer.. its the same feeling for me but im small and relatively bony too so acceptable 👍🏻

I’m about 170-173cm.. add in extra inch with boots and its just about safe for me with lowered seat 👍🏻
It has less to do with how tall you are and more about your inseam. He probably has longer legs than you
