I have the same with more than 50 flights, I put the center of gravity 2 centimeters in front of the recommended, the elevator control in the hole farthest from the elevator fins, 30% exponential, a gyroscope.. it takes off perfectly, it flies and lands easy and can do aerobatics well, I just changed the turbine for an S105 HSD, the original one failed after 10 flights.. it's a magnificent plane, I love it..
Yeah. You should have seen the maiden. It was worse. 🤣 First 2 flights i had MAX rate on the elevator. Pulled too much even on this flight. Learned my lesson on this flight. Next flight got the rotation sorted finally.
I've been flying all types with large control surface throws; I use 40 percent exponential to reduce sensitivity. With the EDF jets, a tail-heavy condition is hazardous IF you slow down and have no airflow over the control surfaces. Nose heavy is bad too, but not as bad as tail-heavy. A tail-heavy jet gets stall crazy when slowing for the landing approach and can pre-empt a proper flair...flair too early, so tail heavy is bad in many ways, nose heavy, you counter it with trim, but remember, when the plane slows the nose drops, requires more up elevator on final.
Use tailron mix with aileron for beter control on the plane. I fly mine this way, and check my Battery comprartment for good C.G on my channel 🙏. I use Hobbyeagle gyro
If you step up to the F86, the 120mm makes that 105mm look like a toy......Ya my 120mm F86 flies just as fast as the 80 size turbine version......technology is a wonderful thing LOL
That's interesting. My HSD T-33 has pretty good power. But I wouldn't say it's as fast as the turbine version of the T-33 (never flew the turbine version but I've seen it fly). My 105mm MB-339 was pretty decent after I put the HSD S-EDF in it. AF tried some EDF upgrades on that F-16 and he was disappointed. I've assumed it was the airframe and weight. Maybe the F86 is a cleaner, lighter design.
@@all_rc Ya the T33 is no way as slick as the F86 plus the swept wing design makes the F86 much faster......that is why they replaced the P80 in Korea...
Awesome aircraft. I love any Jety that's a F-(something). I like your offer of confidence at 1:40.
Great Job! Way to keep your composure!

Good flight and landing! I was worried on takeoff :D

@@all_rc glad you got it worked out. Ill be on lookout :)

Great job! Where did you finally find to be the correct CG? Can you share the details of your radio setup (provide the file)? Thanks, Jayson
Does it already have the S-EDF inside with the mentioned 7kg of Thrust in it?
Is the servo voltage 6,0 or 7,4V?
Wow mantap
Was this at the Sepulveda Dam Model Airport?
Apollo 11 Model Airfield
@@all_rc where is Apollo located? It looks like a roomy runway. I’d like to fly there

Very slow for 12s 105mm EDF....90mm 8s can reach 270km/h. Here is max 100-130km/h
