  • This short video gives you a glimpse of a popular area in the seaside suburb of Glenelg in South Australia.I came here for lunch and to try out my Ricoh 35 EFS 35mm film camera. So I thought I would record a short video.Below are some links to my blog showing photos in this area. My shots from the Ricoh will probably show up somewhere along the way later on.Enjoy!

    G'day from Brisbane, Geoff! I've got a soft spot for the Adelaide coastline.
    Love those little Ricohs. I don't think the battery is super important- I use a light meter app on my phone which is pretty accurate.
    Great video mate!

    Hi Geoff, it is necessary put the battery on it? or I can use it without it? Did you control the F stop or its automatic?

    • @pembridgehouse
      @pembridgehouse  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Sebastian. Thanks for your interest. No it needs a a battery and the f stop is automatically selected. The only things you can change are the iso speed and the focussing.The flash will automtacally choose the settings also.cheers. geoff.

      @@pembridgehouse thanks for the answer so, the answer is no, not needed the battery right? I want to buy one! But the battery is not found it anymore in my country. So if the camera don’t need a battery to work how is the f stop selected? I can’t found any info about this camera and how it expose the pictures :(. Thanks again!

      @@scorzoa Hi Sebastian. You do need a battery. The only thing you can change on the camera is the ISO setting and you focus with zone focusing.The flash also will only work with a battery. The camera selects the shutter speed and the aperture automatically.If you vary the iso depending on whether you are in bright or shady conditions you do have a little bit of extra control by fooling the camera. So for example if you have an iso 400 film loaded if you set the iso at 100 or 200 that will change the aperture settings. It is something you can experiment with. It is late here tonight and I will check out more about the battery you need tomorrow. cheers. geoff

      Hi Aisyshua, here is what the manual recommends. Use one 1.35 V mercurv battery H-C, PX 675, EPX 675or equivalent.You should see if whoever you buy batteries from has these batteries or the eqvivalent.cheers Geoff
