I wouldn't really say there is anything about the old versions that really screams "early 2010s". Although I like them and they are very nostalgic, I find the lighting and color depth of the originals to be very bland, and I personally think that the remaster looks far more charming and stylistic of what puffball was going for.
The airship’s interior was made much more furnished and realistic, which only draws attention to how comically large the airship itself is. It’s bigger than the rocket!
I think the new one looks more realistic, because of the things there are in, for example, the office. It actually looks more like an office that you will also see in real life.

I like the newer ones better, way more detailed, especially the older ones, fleeing the complex didn't get that much love but I still respect the added detail. I also like how they completely remastered breaking the bank because that game was really lackluster compared to the others, it didn't even have a fail screen but now it does.
You can tell which character sprites are brand new or carried over just by looking at their hands. Up until Completing The Mission, their hands were only made up of fingers with no palms in sight.
I believe its that guy that has a buttchin, he works in chaos containment. And from the future, he detects an anomaly and helps it by sending a cake that has stuff in it, and the anomaly is henry ofcourse. Also, thats why the ending "Multiverse Imbalance a.k.a correction" has that cake that has stuff in it and the cake gets sent to henry's cell by Dave Panpa.
The original ones look like a 6 year old drawing. The remastered versions are the same kids drawing but with more details and more cinematic than cartoonish.
God I love how amazing the new ones look. It would take me an hour to get through the first game just because I'd be gawking at every frame of animation

The Escaping the Complex is the least changed because it was the latest and most polished at the time, just added new details.
