Swades in the only patriotic film which didn't show aggressive nationalism like other war movies! It's impact was phenomenal! Many NRIs felt emotional watching it and came back to India!
Lakshya also it's the most real war film in Bollywood without any aggressive nationalism

I love the scene in Swadesh when Shahrukh Khan was sitting with the villagers and said “Main nhi Manta ki hamara desh sabse Mahan desh hai... and the full speech he said really felt deep to me and show the real patriotism.
Desh ki achhaiyan ginana bhut acha hai lekin buraiyo per aankh mund Lena bhi shi nhi hai.

Swades and Rang de Basanti are my favourite fron this list. The organic growth of love for their country was so amazing. It's not talked about enough how both films are still relatable and true in today's time.
Airlift is also my favourate patriotic movie.
That movie is really a eye opener.
The main lead always disliked his country where he belongs to (India) and was always proud of country where he shifted to (Kuwait).
But at the time of need,he realised the importance of his country.
So be proud of the country where you belong too. Because at the time of need, only your country will be there for you where you belong too.
I don't know why but like i think "L.O.C. KARGIL" deserves atleast a mention in this video.
A long length movie but i never felt bored even for a second.
Border and LOC Kargil has been my favorite movies in terms of patriotism
Sardar Udham is probably the most beautiful, tear jerking and patriotic Indian film I've ever watched. Each and every scene was perfect. Vicky Kaushal's marvellous portrayal of the great Sardar Udham Singh and the absolutely stunning cinematography just blew me away. Before this, I wasn't really familiar with Vicky's work. Although I had seen Uri and loved Vicky Kaushal in that, I still wasn't really sure about his acting capabilities. Sardar Udham single-handedly made me Vicky Kaushal's fan. Special thanks to Soojit Sarkar sir for gifting us this beautiful film

I watched almost all the movies except Lakshay and Mother India. When I saw Swadesh and the scene where Mohan was on train and he bought water and gave that boy the money and he had tears in his eyes so did I. I was so overwhelmed after watching that scene. Also Chak de India's many scenes. One more thing, you didn't mention Raazi, I loved every scene of that one as well ..😊

When Shahrukh khan won the match and everyone were seeing him with pride and little shame to called him traitor previously..this scene gave me goosebumps,along with that title track "chakde india".
Parmanu and Rocketry (a biopic with patriotic touch) were also good patriotic movies

Well I'm surprised there was no mention of 'Lage Raho... Munnabhai'
Sanjay Dutt as Munna and Arshad Warsi as circuit coming back, and little did anyone know that it'd make everyone so emotional as the film progresses!
It really is one of the best patriotic comedy films made ever(probably one of the first of it's kind). Also the actor Dilip Prabhavalkar ji who played Mahatma Gandhi was truly amazing!

Swadesh is my Favorite and the crying scene of SRK after drinking water at the train station.. "Paani le lo paani"... And then background music with Srk eyes in tears showing the helpless .. It' the best scene and gives Goose bumps everrytime

How can you miss Manoj Kumar's movies from the list...the original 'Mr. Bharat'... who epitomised Patriotism and highlighted various social issues... Kranti, 10 numbari, Upkar, Purab aur Paschim, Roti Kapda aur Makaan, Shaheed...whenever a list for most or best Patriotic movies comes into fray, no list can be complete without Manoj Kumar's movies...disappointed to see the exclusion☹️

@@RajuAhmed-sy7ys You are born and brought up in today's world so you have the liberty to term them cringeworthy, but in order to understand the rationale behind those movies, you need to also understand the era in which most of those movies were made - there was social unrest, political uprisings, society was plagued with all probable social issues - hence the tone of those movies had to be loud because it resonated with the audience according to those testing times...and those movies did address all relevant social issues...you can sit in your comfy chair right now and pinpoint as much as u can, but that is the reality dude!

Sardar Udham one of the finest patriotic biopic ever made in India❤Vicky Kaushal acting and the direction and screenplay was godclass.

Last scene of Veer Zaara is also very patriotic when Veer finally returns to India after spending 22 years in a Pakistani jail without any mistake.

It can be seen that he was a Squadron leader in air force and also sang a song in the film "Aisa Des Hai Mera" representing patriotism.
So , he was happy that he could go to his home and his country "India" finally at the climax.
Bhagat Singh, Sardar Udham Singh, Rang De Basanti were the most favorite.

Lakshya (2004) is the kind of film I'll urge my students to watch. It's very poignant as well as it'll make them think what they can actually do to serve for their nation (it doesn't have to be defence forces). Anything they want.
I felt patriotism , In Rocket Boys season 1 at the entry of APJ ABDUL KALAM , that scene was damn good 🇮🇳🇮🇳
LoC Kargil was also one of the best patriotic films of its time

Sadly the points raised in this film aren't relevant in today's times... especially that that spitting scene at the end ...later on he stopped it even when he wasn't asked why he spit it on the wall.
