Echo His Heart: Session 6: Chosen: The Call of Saul

In Acts 9:1-43 we encounter the lifechanging conversion of Saul who was chosen by God to transform Saul the persecutor of Christians to Paul the apostle of Jesus Christ. In Saul’s experience we see the “miracle of a moment when a soul finds its worth” in Jesus. Paul will go on to figure prominently in Acts 13-28. But before that, we have opportunity to witness the pit from which God took him and to understand how God chooses, changes, and commissions all who put faith in Him. We’ll also learn about Ananias-an “errand runner for the Lord,” and see Peter empowered to perform two miracles that bring many more into a relationship with Christ. All of this to ensure that Christ-followers take His name wherever God leads, regardless of the cost.
