My dad was a bass player in a rock group and we moved out to California with his band in 1969 and stayed until 1974 so identify with this song. I am listening to it in an apartment in Melbourne and so loving hearing them when they played here all those years ago. My Aussie husband was around 18 years at this time and looked like one of the crowd. He just passed away this past August, so feeing nostalgic for this era of great music.
I was 14 when they came out to Aussie the only and only time, i used to listen to them on my portable record player scratched and all! I really wanted to go see them! My mum bought me that record player she passed at 92, 2months ago! Sorry for your loss! Much love! ❤️
Why is the camera jumping all over in these videos , the sound is awesome but the camera is all over the place who filmed this . ? Was it meant to be a documentary ? Or is it an amateur filming ?
This was my anthem coming out of high school.......even though I was a native Californian 🤗🎵🎶🎙️🎸 actually got to pass the hash pipe with the boys during this song at a San Berdo concert

No band will ever better the great Led Zeppelin ❤
One of my favourite zeppelin songs
Yeah this version on How theWWW, is absolutely Fab. Summer of '72.
Idk if modern listeners hear or understand the 'music fest' vibe this give off.
I was at that concert. Best concert ever!
Lucky freaking duck.
I Was There Too!!! No Words To Describe How Unbelievably Good They Were!!

im kind of stoned rn, and this song is a complete masterpiece it encapsulates the 60's/early 70's sound and feeling.
Yes going to California is about moving out west to join the movement of hippies in those years so I’ve been told
Your an RN? A know it all that knows nothing

A masterpiece. In total bliss right now.✌❤
Amazingly good sound quality. Thank you so much
this is NOT the real audio from this gig. It's lifted from the 1972 LA gig from the live DVD of that.
We just don't get this Beauty anymore. Sad Really.
I was just too young at the time.
Greetings from Australia.

audio - Earls court may 75
picture - sydney feb 72 amateur cine 8 reel
2SM thanks you
One can't help but wonder why they couldn't hold the close up camera in zep for more than a sec.
The camera work is mostly irritating to say the least but the sound is excellent
Los hombres mas bellos y talentosos.
Obra prima de Deus
Дякую!
This is a live recording from the album “How the west was won”
Is some trying to draw plant. The abc filmed some of the sydney show. It was on a show called "gtk". Only a few minutes were filmed.
This is from Inglewood 1972
sounds almost like earls court 1975
1:45 These images are the same as those from "The Immigrant Song" ...
SUPRISED THAT JIMMY DOSENT TAKE RECORDINGS SUCH AS THIS AND MANY OTHERS OUT THERE,AND PRODUCE LIVE SOUNDS OF OLD ZEP
This wasn't from Sydney. This is the version from How the West Was Won.
This is wonderful, especially the audio, but is there any proper video footage from that day in Australia ?
I’m happy to see this as I was there ,would be nice to come across better footage😊

This isn't from this concert.
I’m glad this exists, but it’s hard to watch, being so poorly filmed. Kind of frustrating.
What is the deal with the camera jumping around the sound is awesome. Who filmed this and why ?
Sure it's hard!....still...
Sound was great, too bad the camera man was on an acid trip!
Like how the west was won
Great audio, but terrible video.
Isnt this Audio from Los Angeles 1971?
Nope. Earls Court, London, maybe 1975

Audio is great, filming is abominable.
Poor cameraman.
Mmmmm... peccato che Jimmy si veda così poco, quasi niente, proprio anche mentre suona 😠😠😤
Not even the right concert
