I actually disagree with this as a forest fan. I think PGMOL and the Premier league are afraid of us. That is why they are doing everything to stifle our club. The premiere league cannot afford to have another large historic club taking attention away from the big six. They want a generic club like luton town or ipswitch to take our spot. I think forest has the ability to upset the apple cart in quite a major way in a few years. Edit: Point proven with the fulham game today ahaha you can't make this up!
Forest earned 36 points (4 points deducted). 36 would have been enough to stay up in half of all Premier League seasons since the introduction of the 38 game format. Furthermore, the gap between Luton and Forest was the second highest gap (in actual points gained) between relegation and survival in Premier League history.
Add in the bizarre referee & var decisions that went against us week in week out that obviously cost us numerous points Forest should have been no where near relegation fact...
@@GHost-tl4vl he finished higher than Nuno did last year and got alot further in both cups than he did, he was sacked for one win in 13, owner thought that wasn't good enough but then Nuno went one win in 18 after his two wins, finishing with the lowest ever points to survive in the easiest ever season, today we see if those two wins are fluke or if Nuno gets only his 9th win in nearly 11 months now lol
Viia and Brighton finished on 35 points quite recently..now established top half clubs..so confidence in Forest is well founded irrespective of those punters that wrote them off in the summer.
I'm biased but I genuinely feel Forest have some very good players and have the ability to compete with the best of them. The squad is full of internationals and young promising players, some being constantly monitored by bigger clubs. It's been easy to slag them off after the first two seasons, the first being borderline madness with the signings. It's been a period of bedding in and gaining the level needed to be a good premier league side going forward. Us older fans know we belong in the top flight, youngsters however, it's harder to convince.
.well said from one of those older fans born in the 60's so remember the good old days under the partnership of Brian Clough and Peter Taylor. It was such a shame when the split up and then the betrayal by Taylor going to Derby and poaching the likes of Robbo, the best left winger in the whole country at the time, he would leave everyone standing in his wake!
We have a really good squad now and there's a great feeling around the whole of the club. I definitely think we won't be involved in a relegation battle this season, and I predict a comfortable mid table finish, around 11th or 10th I reckon or maybe even slightly higher, although I think a European place is beyond us for now....but watch this space!
Forest have not spent a lot of money compared to the other top teams in league, they just needed to rebuild their squad. If you look at the cost for Elanga and Hudson-odi it was just around 15Mil for both of them.
No surprise amongst fans in the know... and those who follow the Reds.By the way..Forest earnt 36 points with 4 deducted to ensure surviva as it doesl almost every season irrespective of. the relegated teams... Forest are on the up and are rapidly becoming an established Prem club once again.
One thing you got wrong was that the defence is not under leadership of Murillo. Murillo is fantastic but it's Milenkovic who is suring up our defence with his leadership and constant barking of orders. There is a reason he won player of the month for us.
You were doing quite well until the lazy parroting of the MSM line of wanting a huge squad. It was a necessity after losing over 25 players after the play-off final. 5 of the players that played that day returned to their parent clubs, the spine of the team left including a now french international goalkeeper.
We are exciting to watch and can best the best. But we have several key players injured right now. Including MGW. It feels like our injuries might be hard to overcome. Taiwo. Danillo.
I think we will finish around 12th place though with this squad an if we can avoid any more serious injuries like Danilo's and Sangare's, but also jiggly little injuries too like the ones affecting Awoniyi, Boly, Sangare and the likes of which has been very frustrating. Come on You Reds, Come on the Mighty Forest!
Anyone who does any research into performances under Nuno even last season and the signings we made would know we wasn’t going to be anywhere near the drop. Just lazy opinions from all these pundits.
Just shows, you need to concede points for financial fair play in order to invest what it takes to establish in the premier league. Hard not to see it as a built in handicap for the recently promoted teams when a, the biggest offenders in the big six never get punished and b, if you can’t invest, you’re a one season wonder.
So Nottingham Forest might do a Leicester 2016-2017 and win the title. Well, they are owned by an Greek guy right. I have some Netflix project with UN ambassador Watson and some UNESCO Greece projects as well. Herr Dahlmeier is hell bent on #MakingGreeceGreatAgain #MGGA
Spent nowhere near that and had to replace 21 payers lost when promoted. Stayed up comfortably both times and ohhhh look now in 3rd. How does that humble pie taste?
Not getting carried away. no one is scared of us calm down. just keep improving is good enough for me

PGMOL is a disgrace.
ate your words there mate
@@lwkfinn Now he's eating a second and even bigger portion of them. We totally outclassed West Spam and now up to 3rd!
I think you guys are scary right now. 1 loss in 10 and in the top 4. You lots look more serious than arsenal right now
This vid is criminally underliked - Great analysis and proof of why Forest surprised the Prem sitting in 3rd by matchweek 11!
Thank you for the feedback! Stick around for more 😀⚽️

That was the lowest ever points to survive , even with the four added on its equal to west broms lowest ever points to survive lol
So your saying we should of stuck with Cooper then?
@@GHost-tl4vl how is that relevant to the comment?

1 simple answer( Nuno Espirito Santo) the guy is legit, people have not just clocked it yet

"I just hope no one is foolish enough to write us off"
Ok Mr Clough😉

Anderson us so good we signed him twice in the same transfer window.
You also forgot RRRRRAMON SOSA.
Wrong MURILLO for your picture!
Thank you for the feedback!
Top 10 would be a dream come true for this season.🙏

Forest should be comfortable mid table. If Gibbs White injury is bad then they won't do as well
Forest are cooking this year. 12th minimum.

"As he thrashed Ipswich 2-0" not the flex you think it is but ok.
Thell prove to be a great investment for marankis 6th spot al😊l😊respect to all clubs
I bet the ‘world’ is in a state of shock about us being 10th after 7 games….
And what away games we had
Now they are 3 rd with 10 games
Do one on west ham under lopetegui. That man seems to have a poisoned chalice when it comes to coaching
Good idea! Thank you for the visit ⚽️
Mission Accomplished!
Just goes to show that no-one can predict the future, least of all football pundits
I say forest finish around 12th
Will take that now please!
After our massive start to the season I'm hoping 10th. However 12th I will be happy with 👌
This aged well.
We drew with Wolves and lost to Fulham. Let’s see how we play against Chelsea, then we’ll talk
Good game between you and us (Fulham), not that much in it on the day
If MGW wasn't wrongly sent off at Brighton, we wouldn't have lost to Fulham.
Absolutely nobody is scared of forest 😂. Spent about 400mill since coming up and just trying to survive.
Not a bad point 😂
Spent nowhere near that and had to replace 21 payers lost when promoted. Stayed up comfortably both times and ohhhh look now in 3rd. How does that humble pie taste?
Early days butwere gets😊😊6th place woods on top form.all players 😊 worth d

Aged like a fine wine 🍷 😂😂 they will finish below Everton 100 percent
Everton look to have turned a corner?!
they got a point vs chelsea
Everton are horror. Bottled against Bournemouth and villa even after a 2-0 lead.
How's your stupidity looking now?
