Used V3 for sale. Great condition, shot very little. Bow was a shop demo...😂

Good to see. My old bowtech blew up on me, the guide Rod set screw loosened and the guide rod came out when I released. Always have that in the back of my mind now, even though I have the V3 now

cool vid. be interesting to see an arrow blowing up on release due to nicks on the shaft and or due to very very light spine for the bow.

Healing up from a shoulder replacement. Going to buy a VX33, but it'll July before I can try one out. In the meantime, just keep healing up.

Take your time, buddy shoulders irreplaceable you can always buy a bow. And who knows by the time you're healed. They will have the newest hottest bow out.

Had dryfire on Halon 32, string snapped at the D-loop and sounded like a .22 being fired. Bow held up just fine, though, after replacing string and cables. That's what comes from being distracted when on the range. String was about 6 months old at the time so it had some wear before the mishap.

Didn't do to bad! Nice to see solid built bows! Quality manufacturing for sure.

I've dry fired my V3 twice now. (don't bring your dog to 3D range, don't talk while taking a shot) both times string was cut. First was the stock zebra string that broke right at speed nocks. Second time ThreadZ, again broke at speed nocks and the cut looked like the nock that flew off the string had cut 1/3 of the bundle. Bow works 100% although there is slight roughness in the cam bearings that I notice.

I had a lumenock split in half one time. Snapped when I released. Vxr took it like a champ. Sounded funny on shot. I kept on shooting with my normal nocks.

I'm getting ready to target practice My Matthews outback from 17 years ago. Bought brand new original strings, and I'm a little nervous here we go.

Unfortunately, I was instrumental in the complete destruction of a PSE Dream Season. Parts of the cam assembly went flying, the string derailed and I cried. It was 100% operator error. Today, it’s a wall hanger.

I had a Triax blow up on the 6th shot after taking it home from the store. Not saying I didn’t do anything wrong because it’s possible and I just didn’t know what I did, but the arrow did hit the target. String broke right at the loop where it goes on the cam. Mathews replaced both cams but I still had to pay for the string. Wasn’t too happy.

Smart. Customers can't come in and dry fire the demo bow if it's already been dry fired lol

      😂😂😂😂
Last week we had a guy walk in, pull an RX-5 Ultra off the wall, pull it back, release it, blow the strings up and then task me , “isn’t that what they are for? To test? “
      Not kidding.

Well I just had mine blow up at TAC. I believe a limb on the tree I was under got between the string and came and derailed it when I shot. It definitely blew the string off lol

Thank you. It looks like the bearing in the bottom cam went so I need a cam and a top limb and for the phase 4 idk if they sell the limbs separately or in a set and my dealer won’t even reach out to Mathew’s for me so looks like I’ll be footing the bill. Definitely a lesson learned. And it definitely didn’t come cheap haha.

Bought a new atlas today. Took to the range to sight in. Made a few shots. And a few adjustments. Then got distracted and dry fired it. Sounded like 22mag. Tech looked it over. Said it looked good. Kept shooting. Did the same thing twenty years ago with q2. Same results. Shot it for six more years on the same zebra strings. Maybe I got lucky. No doubt Mathews builds a great bow. What about the Hoyt commercial where they dry fire there bows 1500 times during r and d? Is this bs?

Logic = the speed nocks are taking the energy but because they’re fixed to the string the force gets transferred back to the string and breaks.. my right?

Think archery shop are getting tired of y’all blowing up bows and pretending like you didn’t derail or dry fire it. This is like the 3rd video I’ve seen about this in the last week. Be honest with your pro shops, they already know what’s up
