I lost my dad 7 years ago and almost forgot his voice and how he was looks like but I clearly still remember his eyes, they're just like Damon's, or maybe a little different, but still familiar. He's actually remain me him so much that sometimes I almost started to crying while listening to any of his songs, you know, those dad vibes. And when I found this version of melancholy hill I literally just felt it. Like, you know, it's sounds so soft and calm like my old blanket or a toy that he gave me on a last birthday and like a lullaby and I feel so confused, it's kinda awesome and maybe magically and a little painful in the same time. I just fall in such nostalgic, like I'm 4 or something like that, there's already dark outside, rain or snow out the window, nobody at the home, even my brother, I feel lonely and maybe scared, trying to stop crying and can't sleep. Mum still on a work, daddy just back, and the first thing that he's do is just give me a hug, you know, those dad's hugs when you feel warm and that's you're save and sound or you're loved. Then hes telling me that everything is fine and there's nothing to worry about or something funny, and he may started to sing something like that's. Then I'm slowly calm down, stop crying and finally fall asleep. And when I woke up I still remember that his not with me anymore. Gosh, I miss him so much. If you're ever visiting Siesta Key I recommend playing this while walking where the water meets the land, at night. It has a nice vibe.
