Interesting Mayby it's sound little bit logical to me I about to try this today 😊 Btw I have a questions what is my I wear a wet cold socks does it will still works?
There are couple of time when I know I am dreaming. In my dream I am going to my friend house but in mind way rain started I stop my bike and look at my phone then I realised the time is 2 pm and how my mom allowed me to go anywhere in night. So thought hit my brain I am dreaming. Today I dream again and I know I am dreaming but I can controll my dreaming. Every time I dream when I try to move my hand it feel like some thing is stopping me from moving my hand or I require more force to do this.
Woah this actually makes sense. Since your senses are connected in your dreams you should be able to realize if what you had when you were awake is with you when you're asleep.
yeah it is so easy when you already have "lucidity" inside a dream.... how the hell wil i be thinking in my right foot in my dream? to not be able to use rational thinking in a dream is exacty the issue.

No. That's like saying "if I decide to open a box, I must already know what is in it". Performing a test to establish your state is not the same as knowing the outcome of the test.
Most likely yes, i used to do a lot of nightmares when i was young so i started asking my self if i was dreaming all the time when awake and eventually when i am dreaming i started asking my self if i was dreaming also dreams are very odd so it's not hard to see the difference once you ask your self, but the sock trick might work if you're in a dream and notice that your right leg is warmer you might wonder if you're in a dream 🤔
@@DanielLoveOrgthat’s a horrible analogy. Checking your temperature in a dream would imply that you are self-aware / able to make conscious decisions while dreaming. Which you can’t do unless you already know how to lucid dream
If you’re consciously engaging your higher awareness by doing something like this, then you’re engaging your prefrontal cortex which is heavily involved with lucid dreamers on the studies that have been done. So you’re on the verge of it, if you don’t lose it. It’s very common for people to become lucid and then lose their awareness that they are dreaming (even while continuing to use dream control)
@@DUI-Johnson your whole comment contradicts itself. “It is common to become lucid and then lose your awareness while dreaming” .. then you aren’t lucid anymore. You do realize that the definition of dream lucidity is to always be aware that one is dreaming, right? 😂
My sock was too tight and it cut off the blood flow and i had to have my right foot amputated. Now i know if i have 2 feet in a dream i know im dreaming. Thanks bro!
Another super easy technique is “reality checks”…every once in a while during your day (alllll throughout your day) question “am I dreaming?” In your head. One example of this is counting your fingers. If you have more/less fingers than usual, you’re dreaming. While you’re awake during the day, count your fingers and make sure you have all of them. If you do this enough, you’ll do it in a dream and become lucid
I read that if your hands look weird then you are dreaming. I looked at my hands during a lucid dream, and my fingers were about twice as long as they should be. They were also twisted and gnarly. At least I figured out that I was dreaming.
I am usually like this but I’ve just had an INCREDIBKE vivid dream wear I knew I was dreaming. Something about it I just knew it was a dream. Normally I wouldn’t even have the peace of mind to ask myself ‘is this a dream?’ Because I’d just be too overwhelmed by what’s happening in the dream. The weather outside was a dead give away as there was snow in the ground and it doesn’t snow here. Although I new I was dreaming I didn’t feel like I could really co from the dream
My lucid dreams always begin while I’m in my dream and then begin questioning the things going on in my dream… for instance I had a dream that my husband (the age he is currently) and my father-in-law (who presented as a younger version of himself) were sitting at a table and as we were talking I began to realize that it wouldn’t be possible for this to be real… therefore it must be a dream… and then I proceed to leave them and lucidly fly around the neighborhood… I’ve never had a lucid dream that began because I ask myself how my physical body feels… but it’s an interesting idea.
I really hope this works!!! I tried ever lucid dreaming technique in the book and I couldn’t seem to do it right! But thank you all the same good sir 👍🏻💓
Discovery of Hidden Astral Projection Techniques on Shirlest was a game changer for me. The level of detail in those techniques was astounding, and I finally got to see what astral projection was all about!
I had my first lucid dream a few nights back. I kept waking up for no appear to reason when suddenly I decided I wanted to do a reality check. I looked at my hands and they were normal and then I dozed off quickly and fell asleep. I then looked at my hands in the dream and I became lucid. Try it out and tell me if it helped/worked.
I’ll do both of these tonight and see what happens. I vaguely remember gaining consciousness in my dream last night and I think it was because I saw a ridiculously long bass while fishing with someone and all I remember is telling the person “wait I’m dreaming! I’m in a dream right now!” Man I wish I remembered what happened after. I probably just woke up.
Hidden Astral Projection Techniques on Shirlest deserve way more attention! The tips in there are next level, and they actually worked for me. I’m still in awe of my first astral experience!
An easy method is at random times in the day do reality checks(you will do them in your dream and it will be different so you know you’re dreaming) 1) check the time 2 or 3 times 2)check how many fingers you have 3)plug your nose and if you can still breath you are dreaming
The easiest for me is a visual anchor/totem. Permanent marker, small black circle, as perfect as possible, in the center of your preferred hand. Throughout your day, notice it, and re-affirm to yourself, "this is reality." After as short as a week or 2, it will appear different (because you're dreaming), which will cause you to be aware that you are dreaming. The first few times, you will likely wake up immediately, but eventually you will gain control. Good luck and have fun, I'm running out of Scarletts and starlets and daisies and Maisies ;)
@@evecarter617 That was probably the first technique I ever came across, and still to this day works best for me. If I haven't lucid dreamt in a while, I just draw a new circle.
I will of course not take credit for this but…there is another good one ….wherever you are in the dream world (usually and or for the overwhelming amount of people) you always have something to look at…..your hands …you can make a habit of glancing down at your hands and asking if you are dreaming ….the trick here is focusing ON ANYTHING….we view our environment differently in dreams …when you “focus” on something like that the dream instantly reveals itself as such ….and yes Carlos Castaneda (sp) was the writer who exposed me to this idea …but I have used it to great effect …all the best and remember its ALL maya anyway …God bless

Is it possible to learn 100 pages of sentences from a lucid dream and store them in my mind as if they were printed pages in reality? I want to explore and innovate in lucid dream thought with reality achievements through lucid dream
No unfortunately that's not possible, lucid dreaming does not give us superhuman abilities, it's just an altered state of mind, but nothing magical about it.
I have never been able to properly lucid dream but i have had some other interesting experiences. Like one time, i had a dream that i was waking up from that sleep but this dream was so incredibly vivid and realistic that i was actually confused when i woke up because i seriously thought with all my mind that i whad woken up, all senses were present and responded realistically. To the best of mi recolection, i had fallen asleep in a recliner we had but laying sideways and i rememeber in my dream, waking up and grabbing my fishing pole (we lived near a lake, walking distance) i remember walking toward the front door, and thats it, thats all i remember. Surely it was longer but man it was weird amd interesting.
@LengthyProcess what you experienced here was a dream within a dream. There are different levels which you can go into waking into different levels, and all of them will feel real. I'm not just saying these things bc I've experienced them, but there's a movie made about it, "inception." In hindsight, the waking life in the 3D is a dream state, according to those who have had near- death- experiences.
Well remembered Saffrinian, it is indeed "HOOF" - seemed like a short would be a good place to put it for the casually curious... hopefully a little taste of lucidity will inspire people to investigate the subject further.
Since I was a little boy I’ve always had very vivid dreams like straight movies in my head. And I more often than not, could control them I could dream I what I wanted most of them time, I could pinpoint the moment my dream self realized I was dreaming, i can jump back into dreams I can makes totally different dreams. When I like I called myself a dream walker lol
You can also always check your fingers through out the day and then when your dreaming you will either do that automatically or you will remember to. And you know its a dream when your fingers look weird or you have like 6 fingers, I did that last night and I was actually dreaming cause I had 6 fingers!😅
We are all one. Everyone just obsorbing every bit of infomation they can, then when we die we return to the actual us, which is a giant sasquatch in a different plain of existance, with all of this infomation
…even though you are offering a sensory input …it can be hard to remember while dreaming…I will refer to the post I already made….the key is to remember…that’s why I like the idea that you can do something dozens of times a day that doesn’t “cost” you anytime and you can do it in front of people without them knowing …glance at your hands …and remember it doesn’t have to be verbal…in fact I would recommend doing it in your head …and ask .. am I dreaming …thing is …the simple act of looking at your hands will (at least for me and many many people I have spoken to will reveal your dreaming) but when alone or at home say it out loud ….it takes minimal effort …. the key is repetition day in….day out …it will eventually occur for you to do it in a dream…..and the moment you do ….well my fellow seekers …you will clearly “see”….again all the best !!
Yeah it's very frustrating that easy solutions are what most people are searching for. But hopefully it gains enough people's attention to point them in the direction of the reality of the subject and the course.
I admit it felt nice to drag out that shadow being behind my door with my bare hands and kill it with lightning it’s just trippy dream. I’ve had crazier dreams but they aren’t about me usually I’m just watching a movie with whatever random things that I’ve seen scrambled together into some sort of story. From getting kicked out of a hotel for vandalism to watching a heavy metal band solve the murder mystery of a dead dwarf or just a tree under a glass dome and occasionally it’s me in first person doing whatever I forget them most of the time. I’d rather just enjoy dreaming about nothing I just need it to skip time it’s just a tool to skip to the next day I don’t need no distractions intense dreams make me feel so fuzzy after waking up
The technique is just looking at my hands. Theyll be fuzzy and out of focus in your dream. Idk why or how, but that trick is how i wale myself out of nightmares or start lucid dreaming
One thing I've started experimenting with is: when I WBTB, I dress as if I'm getting ready for the day. (Out of my pajamas. Putting on a regular shirt, pants, belt, etc.) And then I lie on my back, (which isn't a usual position for me either, as I usually sleep on my stomach/side.) Then I keep cycling through SSILD until I fall asleep. I haven't succeeded thus far because I find it hard to fall asleep like that, but is the clothing and sleep position at least a step in the right direction?
I can’t get over how fantastic Hidden Astral Projection Techniques on Shirlest are. I read through the details and found myself successfully astral projecting. The experience was mind-blowing!
okay the trick is to ask the question in the first place lol. I am never in control of my dreams. I lucid dreamed once. And i was like aware I was falling asleep the whole time and I noticed things on the wall that shouldnt have been there then boom. And even then my lucid dream felt restrained
one more thing you could do is.When you are confused if whether you are dreaming just see the time cuz if you are dreaming you won't be able to see the time As your Unconcious mind don't know what the time is when you are dreaming. That's How you can identify your dream and then control it. Or you can just try to pinch or tickle yourself.

Well that looks like an amazing and simple trick I'm going to try it out and if I lucid dream by any chance I will update this comment and tell you what the dream was about, wish me 🤞 Update: well it didn't work but that doesn't mean I will give up I will try it again and after I will try a different technique.
Any chance their alterations for this method? Hypersensitivity to clothes touching me doesnt make for an easy sleep. But Id love some way to lucid dream more often.
i thought of this im pretty sure it dosent work but someone try it and tell me: first grab any item and hold it and forget abt it then try to remember everything and look at ur hand and say wait a minute LET ME LUCID DREAM YIPPEE
Last night I had a dream I was in school and I looked at my shirt realized I was dreaming and plugged my nose. I could breath through it and then I did a lot of stuff like I hovered a little bit and I spawned water in a bowl but, I didn't feel lucid at all. So is it possible that I dreamed about lucid dreaming? If I did, does that mean that I can't have them because I should have gone lucid but I didn't feel different from any other dream and I don't remember explicitly making decisions. When I first plugged my nose and breathed through it I walked around and tried to figure out what to do but I didn't feel different and I followed the dream lore after that with no noticable change between when I should have been lucid to when I wasn't lucid.
This will be answered in the next long form video being uploaded to the channel. So check back on Thursday and you'll get an in-depth answer. But short version until then: don't worry, that's perfectly normal and actually a good sign.
Question: Does it have to be the right foot that you put the sock on because I only have one and its the left. I guess I'll try putting a sock on the old nubby and see what happens.
The only real question I have about this is what if we sleep with socks on already? Do we layer a sock on top of a sock for an extra toasty foot? Or do we put a glove on one hand? 🤔 Regardless, interesting, will have to investigate!
I don't think doubling up would create enough of a difference. A glove would be a reasonable alternative. Frankly, with your level of understanding it's unlikely you'd need a simplified technique like this. This is more of a taster technique to give the casually curious an introduction to the subject.

Instructions unclear I jumped off a building thinking I was dreaming.. turns out I just left one sock on 😕
Going to try this one tonight.
Did it work?
Yeah it actually looks like a good idea ❤
Bro never woke up
I won’t remember who I am or what I’m doing but I will remember this one short
I would never question this in a dream unless i was aware enough aka lucid
I think you're entirely missing the point
I remember this one! Used to be called something silly like HOOF
Well remembered Saffrinian, it is indeed "HOOF" - seemed like a short would be a good place to put it for the casually curious... hopefully a little taste of lucidity will inspire people to investigate the subject further.
did it work
Since I was a little boy I’ve always had very vivid dreams like straight movies in my head. And I more often than not, could control them I could dream I what I wanted most of them time, I could pinpoint the moment my dream self realized I was dreaming, i can jump back into dreams I can makes totally different dreams. When I like I called myself a dream walker lol
A creative idea
Me if I ever manage to lucid dream: “Domain expansion..”
You can also always check your fingers through out the day and then when your dreaming you will either do that automatically or you will remember to. And you know its a dream when your fingers look weird or you have like 6 fingers, I did that last night and I was actually dreaming cause I had 6 fingers!😅
But what if I am dreaming now!?
You aren't.
We all are
We are all one. Everyone just obsorbing every bit of infomation they can, then when we die we return to the actual us, which is a giant sasquatch in a different plain of existance, with all of this infomation
We are the Dream people, If you leave this dream we are goners
You are not
…even though you are offering a sensory input …it can be hard to remember while dreaming…I will refer to the post I already made….the key is to remember…that’s why I like the idea that you can do something dozens of times a day that doesn’t “cost” you anytime and you can do it in front of people without them knowing …glance at your hands …and remember it doesn’t have to be verbal…in fact I would recommend doing it in your head …and ask .. am I dreaming …thing is …the simple act of looking at your hands will (at least for me and many many people I have spoken to will reveal your dreaming) but when alone or at home say it out loud ….it takes minimal effort …. the key is repetition day in….day out …it will eventually occur for you to do it in a dream…..and the moment you do ….well my fellow seekers …you will clearly “see”….again all the best !!
This one blew up a bit! Must be the title 🙄
I’d rather just enjoy dreaming about nothing I just need it to skip time it’s just a tool to skip to the next day I don’t need no distractions intense dreams make me feel so fuzzy after waking up
The hardest part I have with Lucid dreaming is remembering to ask myself any questions 😂
Pov you check the comments to see if it's real
Yeaaa so my entire right leg is in a cast😂 good old 3 wheelers man🤙
Personally my favorite way to check if I am dreaming is to fly or to or spawn people
The technique is just looking at my hands. Theyll be fuzzy and out of focus in your dream. Idk why or how, but that trick is how i wale myself out of nightmares or start lucid dreaming
Instructions were unclear… now my wife is pregnant
One thing I've started experimenting with is: when I WBTB, I dress as if I'm getting ready for the day. (Out of my pajamas. Putting on a regular shirt, pants, belt, etc.) And then I lie on my back, (which isn't a usual position for me either, as I usually sleep on my stomach/side.) Then I keep cycling through SSILD until I fall asleep. I haven't succeeded thus far because I find it hard to fall asleep like that, but is the clothing and sleep position at least a step in the right direction?
This is good for me because I have trouble sleeping and share a room so I can’t do the crazy lucid dreaming techniques I’ll try it
Wait people can feel during their dreams? I can't feel anything at all when I'm dreaming
I heard about shifting? What is it and is it real?
I just lucid dreamed last night, not from this video, but my mom keep on waking me up caused me to lucid dream and when I woke up, I felt odd.
I can’t get over how fantastic Hidden Astral Projection Techniques on Shirlest are. I read through the details and found myself successfully astral projecting. The experience was mind-blowing!
The problem is, after some time I realize I’m dreaming but still can’t do anything
okay the trick is to ask the question in the first place lol. I am never in control of my dreams. I lucid dreamed once. And i was like aware I was falling asleep the whole time and I noticed things on the wall that shouldnt have been there then boom. And even then my lucid dream felt restrained
Does it work?
me who sleeps without sock:.... and I do not notice that I dream
Good for your 3rd foot
one more thing you could do is.When you are confused if whether you are dreaming just see the time cuz if you are dreaming you won't be able to see the time As your Unconcious mind don't know what the time is when you are dreaming.
That's How you can identify your dream and then control it.
Or you can just try to pinch or tickle yourself.
Sometimes I also realize that I am dreaming.
I can control my dreams
I did it!!!

Wtf?
Glove salesperson entered the chat
Well that looks like an amazing and simple trick I'm going to try it out and if I lucid dream by any chance I will update this comment and tell you what the dream was about, wish me 🤞
Update: well it didn't work but that doesn't mean I will give up I will try it again and after I will try a different technique.
Did it work yet?
Bump
@@Crazyhahabro died
@@Crazyhaha nope
One thing i noticed is, now that im trying to lucid dream i end up dreaming every night.
The difficult part is REALISING THAT YOU ARE DREAMING.
But i'm not aware enough to check my foot in my dream??
Do i have to remove the sock
No keep it on forever
Maybe you ask that because in the dream you are wearing no socks. Both socks. Or the one sock you were wearing
it worked
It did
How
I've tried end dreamed i think i lucid because i could feel inside my dream
While dreaming I can’t think
Is >10 socks enough?
Me: "yooo now I can lucid dream"
My OCD: "haha nice try bro"
does this work on the left leg as well?
This is such a good idea for a technique!
Thanks Weegy. Plenty more where this came from 😊
I am gonna fly tonight
Any chance their alterations for this method? Hypersensitivity to clothes touching me doesnt make for an easy sleep. But Id love some way to lucid dream more often.
Why not, i really badly want to lucid dream and nothing else works, so why not
omg thank you so much
i thought of this im pretty sure it dosent work but someone try it and tell me: first grab any item and hold it and forget abt it then try to remember everything and look at ur hand and say wait a minute LET ME LUCID DREAM YIPPEE
hand through + breathe through
Last night I had a dream I was in school and I looked at my shirt realized I was dreaming and plugged my nose.
@@DanielLoveOrg Ah, gotcha! Thank you! I was being a bit silly but I had never heard of doing this before!
@@StumpedSlicken ah surprised you missed it, it was in a stream from a year or so ago the HOOF technique 🤣
@@DanielLoveOrg Surprised I missed it as well! Checked my emails from TH-cam and nothing about "HOOF" or "sock" popped up. Must of missed one!
Great method, but I still use the reality hand checking method
finally a technique that dont require an alarm or waking up
