If you feel yourself starting to wake up from a lucid dream, look down at your hands in your dream and rub them together. Your brain switches from waking up, to focusing on basically rendering your hands. It's a lot of movement and sensation to focus on so it redirects you back into dream world :)
Me : Omg im dreaming, ok dont think about anything scary Brain : anything like this? Me: FUUUUUU Brain: Oh you want to wake up? Brain: *You have selected 'wake up in cold sweat’*
That happened to me once, back when I always new I was dreaming as a kid. I was too young to know about web shooters, so I remember struggling to painfully shoot liquid out of my wrists like an old silly string container. It was not pleasant.
Yeah that's the reason why you gotta stay pretty calm, you can't order somrthing to happen. You kinda want to try and explore and take ur mind off what you want when u lucid dream
Great video 😄! I didn't expect it to work, at least at my first attempt but it did!!! I went to bed at 1°° and set my alarm for 7:30. I then woke up after lots of other dreams and started doing that piano playing techniqe. It worked. I was able to Lucid dream and I've been keeping a dream journal for about a week now. I think that helped too. I'm writing this so if anyone reading the comments is wondering if it works. It does! Have a nice lucid dream tonight 😄
If you are not remembering at least 3 or 4 dreams per night, then yes, you forget almost all your dreams. Yet, the dream you had when you was 7 is stocked in your rememberances and not in your dream recall.
Sometimes I realize I’m in a dream and I’m just like “oh cool i can try to lucid dream now” but forget that I’m in a dream, like 5 seconds later, because i got distracted by a bird or something
I had that happen a handful of moments so far in my life. Then when I wake up, I'm like Awww I could have a longer lucid dream! Would be more entertaining than a usual dream where I'm trying to take a test that I didn't study for, or running away from a dinosaur. >_>;
This happens to me! Accept when I realize I’m in a dream I’m like “oh this is epic” but then it turns really dark and scary from some unknown reason and I forget I’m dreaming and then I start panicking a lot and it forces me to wake up. Shit fucking sucks
IKR I woke up in the middle of the night, wrote down the key words of the dream so I can recall the details in the morning My note just said "a fridge in time" w h a t .
i’m way too impatient to journal my dreams lol i feel like my hand is too slow for my thoughts and i end up forgetting the dream halfway through. so i just voice memo it every morning
Can confirm that the dream recording method works. I wrote down my dreams every morning just on my phone and it took about 3 months but I finally had a lucid dream. It didn't last long, but it was exactly as amazing as you'd think. You're completely aware and in control. If you want to fly, you can. That's what I did first, and you feel the truly real sensation of flying. It was night and I flew from an empty college campus to my old neighborhood. When I landed I woke up. It was so much to process. I haven't tried to do it again since because it was honestly a lot to take in. Lucid dreaming is unlike anything else you can ever experience. Id like to again soon. It works, just keep at it because it can take a while to achieve.
Although lucid dreaming is amazing I disagree about the unlike anything else you can experience I’ve been lucid dreaming for about 4 years and just got into astral projection and finally got one after a week of trying now THAT is amazing seeing your only body in bed is unbelievable I can’t describe how real it feels if you’re pretty solid at lucid dreams you can do it through lucid dreaming which makes it really easy
How?! I am aware I was dreaming but no matter what I cannot fly, have superpowers or manifest anything... tho I did try jumping off a building once, that works n results in a slow descend
@@rebekaelzabaumgarte7094 Only took me maybe a week or 2 to learn it, i'm a natural lucid dreamer so that is possibly why i got it so easy but the hardest part is finding the method that works for you, start off by constantly trying to keep your mind aware of it as you sleep, also if you can't lucid dream efficiently yet i would do that first
@Human Observer You just kind of lose control because of your emotions taking over, like panic, and fear. But you can just draw a circle, square, etc. around you and say nothing can come in it but you.
I mean yeah it does help for you to understand what you usually dream about which can remind you to do a reality check at that time. It's not neccessary to write, but it does help a lot
What is up my fellow night owls. Looks like we're all watching this video late on the same night. It's like youtube knows our sleep cycles or something
Topthink just talks bullshit. Lucid dreaming are totally totally amazing but takes weeks (1.5 min up to few months, depends on your commitment and type of brain, unless your a rare talented person) of practice to get the first one. Plus, FILD is a good method but really shitty and hard for beginners. Topthink got many other mistakes in the vid and if you want something serious who doesn't talk BS talk to me, I can tell you of a few (not the famous TH-camrs...)
They say people you dont know in your dreams are people that have died and are spirits watching you sleep, I always get a eerie feeling when I look at people I dont know in my dreams.
People you see in your dreams are actually people you’ve seen before however you may not remember them. It could be someone you’ve passed by in the streets or someone you saw online. So I mean there is hope because that person does exist somewhere but they probably would not behave like they did in your dream.
@Narin Dehghan well the thing is that if you become lucid in a dream then it isn't really scary, even if the dream was a nightmare. If you gain lucidity in your dreams, you should be able to control the world around you more than a regular dream. So with a some focus you can make your dream go from a creepy environment to one that's enjoyable.
I can only lucid dream during nightmares: I am like “wow that can’t be real. I’m dreaming.” Then I either change the story or wake myself up. The later is a terrible feeling though
Super weird... For me to I only become fully aware of my own dreaming during a nightmare or when a dream takes a really stressful turn. The most vivid time this happened was during a nightmare. I saw the monster crawling towards me, and not wanting to get scared I forced myself to wake up by imagining my head turning in real life... idk.
Who else wants to lucid dream to escape the the shitty things about life and just be able to escape to a place you can finally experience joy or excitement that you have never experienced before thanks guys for the likes and comments and for understanding 🙂
Same. I wake up so Happy. I was flying and I was transparent and I could fly towards people and they didn’t notice lol. It’s like a 10 seconds happiness and then I realize I had woken up and reality hits
So something weird happened to me last night, I followed every thing on the video, so I setup a paper for the dream journal and kept on biting my tongue too (to know weather or not am dreaming ) And then I dreamt of something I don't even remember so after that I woke up and wrote everything on my paper, I wrote a full page too. Then morning came and guess what there is nothing written on the paper, then it hit me. I was dreaming all along 😂 you won't believe how confused I was before realizing what happened.
I actually came lucid dreamed straight by accident, I had been watching lucid dream videos a bit before and remembered that if I looked in a mirror or did any reality check I would see if I were in a lucid dream. I did my reality check in a nearby laptop in my dream and I had a small face. I got excited and remembered that I could do anything in these sorts of dreams but I didn't know what to do so I just changed my setting to a beach because I remembered the videos talking about beaches and things like that. I got too excited when I could change my setting and woke myself up, I was sad but I was also really happy that I lucid dreamed.

I’m my last dream the only thing I remember is the end a doctor walked into this room it was completely white almost glowing and in the middle of the room there was a bed with a person on it who I couldn’t identify and the doctor was like what you see in cartoons (bleach white jacket, headband with like the silver circle thing on it, stethoscope around his neck, and he was holding me of those wooden clip boards.) Then I was just standing of to the side like a spectator. The doctor looked towards the bed and in a mournful voice said “yup the kids got hydrocephalus.” Then I woke up I was instantly like what the heck is hydrocephalus and then was like must have made it up. I decided to search it up because why not. ITS A REAL THING!!! HYDROCEPHALUS IS WATER ON THE BRAIN!!! Like I’ve never heard that term before!
I've always found it weird that I have, essentially, 100% dream recall. I can recall everything from my dreams, down to the tiniest detail, to even exact words being spoken, even years after having the dream. From dreams I had as a kid, to dreams from 2 years ago, all it takes is remembering "That one dream where I was-" and all the memories perfectly resurface. And yet, I've never once purposely made myself lucid dream despite my wish to do so :')
@@dezember25th Wow lol, you're lucky with dreams then, I had only like one that I can still remember clearly, usually it's just some small details and places. Even though I have pretty good memory in real life so I guess it's the other way round for me 😅☺️

It’s actually really simple to induce dream like imagines while still awake, once you understand it you’ll think it’s so obvious how haven’t I’ve done this before. The dream sequence really ramps up during R.E.M, this is extremely simple to induce simultaneously “me personally I find this easier” focus on the center of your forehead where a hypothetical your 3rd eye would be. This is the hardest part, black out your thought and think about absolutely nothing. Start to actively move your eyes as if you’ve started rem and you’ll start to get bright flashes of light and eventually start to make out imagine with these flashes just like dreams. The longer you can go without getting distracted with thoughts the more pronounced the images will become exactly like a dream sequence.

I love to lucid dream. I have luckily been able to “naturally” enter a lucid state for a long time now and It’s so fun. I especially love to lucid dream because it’s like being able to make a movie about whatever, wherever and with whoever you want, love it!
Mahmoud Abulkhair I must say I have never tried sleep paralysis, but my best advice would be to find a way to let yourself know if you’re dreaming or not. In my case when I’m lucid dreaming I like to jump really really high which I cannot do irl haha. But it could be anything, train yourself to do it every time you become aware that you might be dreaming. I think it would let you know what is real and what’s not and maybe that will make it less scary.
@@majkenagerbo2952 Once, I got a lucid dream. But everything is not fun, it's the opposite. It was a nightmare. I dreamt I was in an unknown place and there was a monster. Any advice to make my lucid dream more fun?
Red Panda I am very fortunate to be very “good” at lucid dreaming but for some people it’s gonna take practice to both be aware that you’re dreaming and being able to take control of the dream. Honestly the knowing that you’re dreaming is the easy part. I too had to practice taking control over my actions because it’s very easy to slip in and out of those controls. but! When I have a lucid dream that turns into a nightmare it is almost always my subconscious trying to work through something for me or tell me something (I suffer from chronic depression and I get a lot of nightmares when I’m very depressed or very stressed). I’m not an expert and I can’t base this on anything else than my own experience but I think as scary as it is in the moment you have to focus on it being a dream and if you can’t overrule the monsters try to focus on why it might be happening - in my case it reminds me that I’m probably working through something and thus making it less scary because I know it can’t hurt me irl. Can’t make any promises but I wish you the best of luck!
@@majkenagerbo2952 so, ive seen the videos on lucid dreaming but i havent had a sucsessful lucid dream using techniques, just asking, is there anything i should know beforehand and would you reccomend the steps in the video?
One time I lucid dreamed an hour before my school started, and I dreamt sleeping in an arcade. I then realized I wasn’t in my bed once I finally stood up in the dream so I thought, “lets fly” and I started floating it was crazy! The funny thing is, I woke up 6 minutes before class. Also, I was legit sleeping in my dream for an hour so I legit wasted the experience... At the end of the dream, I stopped floating and I fell through the floor. I remember specifically going to the backrooms and I woke up screaming!
To anyone trying to have a lucid dream or anyone who's had one but the dream broke apart because of the excitement, the biggest tip I can give is to stay calm. It is very exciting and incredible to be able to do literally anything you can think of/things you didn't even know were possible but excitement/fear will wake you up so tell yourself to calm down, scream it to yourself if you need to. It only gets easier the more you do it.
I once was having a nightmare and suddenly woke up within it and I just got up and decided I wanted to change clothes but for some reason instead of just spawning new clothes I popped up a market snd looked for clothes but couldn’t find anything cute
@@blossomnessstudios4446 haha it’s incredible actually had a time where I was fully relaxed while falling and knew I was dreaming and decided I could go anywhere I wanted and did. Been stuck with me for a while now and was wondering how I could ever do that again as it was out this world and something I’d never done before now found this and going to give it a go.
I feel that explains why I woke up. I only lucid dreamed one time by accident and immediately starting throwing people around and I toppled a building and immediately woke up
In my dream, I woke up, took a shower, ate breakfast, went to school, met my friends, and then I woke up again and the cycle continues. Is this normal?
Me too! But I never remember my dreams so I have to fix my sleep schedule and remembering dreams before I can learn to lucid dream so I can shift through the lucid dream
same lmao ive been trying to shift since like September and i recently found out that you can shift thru lucid dreaming so I am gonna try it. i hope this method works cause i have been trying to shift for so long ✋😭
I remember getting ready to walk out to school, and I suddenly appear back in my bed like I just woke up. When I looked towards the door of my room, I saw some kind of shadowy figure staring back at me. I remember being so scared because I thought it would jump out at me. Then I woke up in my bed, but it felt really weird. Luckily, there was no one by the door that time. Let's just say that my eyes were open in the shower that morning.
Ive had the odd repeating dream what bits i do remember are kinda gross but it always has the same ending where someone else usually one of my sisters just walks in and says something then i wake up only happened 2 or 3 times over like 10 years tho
I remember a specific dream. I only remember details, but they are really vivid. A cow in a living room, a spaceship descending its ladders in that room, the castle with a water river around it, someone (might be me) climbing a spiral staircase to a room with a notebook. I've had that dream so many times and yet I've never been able to piece them together even when I try to write it down when I wake up.
If you want to remember your dream start writting them down in the morning if you dont remember anythig yust write down dream you want to have and while you are falling asleep repeat ill remember my dream
I’ve had the most control over my dreams in super light sleep when I’m aware that I’m falling asleep. Today as I was falling asleep I thought about what I wanted to dream about and I dreamt about it and dreamed about exactly what I wanted to. I want to be able to do that all the time. I can always remember dreams for a while but hopefully writing them down will help me remember longer and help me lucid dream more
Karmaa! Omg yes I woke up this morning and I had dreamt about all my friends telling me they could lucid dream but I couldn’t figure out how to. When I woke up I took a couple of seconds and I was like 🤦♂️
I remember being in a wonderful orange autumn forest, there were many hills and a lot of leafs on the ground. There was a big shelf right in the forest, full of the best toys you can imagine. It was the best experience I have ever had. Then I woke up, and was sad that everything was gone.
Don't trust the toilets in lucid dreams. Don't use them. I peed myself once when I was lucid dreaming. Don't know if my fever had anything to do with it, but I accidentally had a lucid dream and it was so weird.
Omg this happend to me when I was little so I wanted to go to the bathroom but I was super tired that night so I fell sleep again but I dreamt about going to the bathroom I thought it was real so I peed my pants... yea embarrassing
I once dreamed that I was sitting on the toilet and there was a turned on shower in front of me. And yes, I peed myself. So never sit on a toilet or pee in your dreams guys 🤣
i love learning more about lucid dreaming as i’ve actually had many experiences growing up without even realising. one of the biggest moments that has stayed with me ever since was in a dream where i was running down the hallways in my house, i believe i was being chased by yoda xD anyway, i just suddenly felt truly aware, i pictured him disappearing and he did right away, then i began walking slowly down the stairs, toward a mirror which is by my front door. i stared into my reflection and it was so surreal that i woke up instantly, manifesting that i can do it even more now that i know what lucid dreaming is🤞
Yep...I must have been around 5 and I dreamt my favourite toy, my glo worm was lost and I found him in my neighbour's back yard and I was really happy but when I got close to it, it's face turned really really scary and jump attacked me...which woke me up. Strangely, it didn't change how I felt about that particular toy 30 years later, I remember it perfectly. Weird!! 😕😕
G C same I started a journal and I only wrote down 1 dream because every morning I don’t have anything. ANYTHING! It’s not even like I forgot it I feel like I just don’t dream! It’s so annoying
I've kept a "dream diary" off and on for years, and it's quite fun to revisit dreams I had long ago. I write down dreams I remember as soon as I wake up. Sometimes, though, I forget that I've dreamed until something triggers the memory a few minutes after I get up. Then the dream comes rushing back in full colour and intensity, and I hurry to write it down. I often get déjà vu in my dreams, and sometimes I'm aware that I'm dreaming, though I've never purposefully set out to lucid dream. My dream diary allows me to track lots of recurring themes and motifs in my dreams, which may be what sparks the déjà vu. Musical dreams are among my favourites. 😁 Maybe I'll try this finger technique sometime!
I literally just thought, "I wanna have a lucid dream" and two days later I did. (During a nap because my dreams are the most intense during this time). I was taking to my dead grandfather in my dream. I realized this was my chance. The transition into being lucid felt like buzzing, pleasurable waves pulsing through my brain, I only saw white static for a moment...my body wanted to wake up, and I just refused. I open my eyes in the same situation but now I am aware... I ask him where he has been. He disappears.. and then I lose gravity.
Doggie, you can! Just use a dream journal (Everytime you remember a dream, or don't remember anything, write it down), and before you go to sleep think "I will remember my dreams". And if you smoke weed you really would need to stop.. Before I started to go into lucid dreaming I remembered a dream once every like a few weeks, and now I remember 2-5 a day! No joking here. Learning to lucid dream is hard and takes commitment (but totally possible), but learning to remember your dreams is actually really fast. Just few days
STEPS FOR LUCID DREAMING: 1. Set alarm 2 hours before your usual getting-up time. 2. Relax on ypur bed. 3. Move your index and middle fingers and fall asleep normally 4. Bite your tongue (for reality check) 5. Enjoy your lucid dream.

He said you forget your dream. Me over here still remembering the dream I had when I was 7
If you are not remembering at least 3 or 4 dreams per night, then yes, you forget almost all your dreams. Yet, the dream you had when you was 7 is stocked in your rememberances and not in your dream recall.
I usually remember two dreams per night. If I take pills to help me sleep I’ll remember at least three.

Cap🧢
Although lucid dreaming is amazing I disagree about the unlike anything else you can experience I’ve been lucid dreaming for about 4 years and just got into astral projection and finally got one after a week of trying now THAT is amazing seeing your only body in bed is unbelievable I can’t describe how real it feels if you’re pretty solid at lucid dreams you can do it through lucid dreaming which makes it really easy

It only gets easier the more you do it.

Adrian Bigno in my dream I asked one of my friend if I was dreaming and he said no then I thought I was normal
In my dream, I woke up, took a shower, ate breakfast, went to school, met my friends, and then I woke up again and the cycle continues. Is this normal?
am i the only one who is trying to do the lucid dream method for shifting? ok just me then ig
Same lmao🌝
Me too! But I never remember my dreams so I have to fix my sleep schedule and remembering dreams before I can learn to lucid dream so I can shift through the lucid dream
SAME- but my stupid dream self does reality checks, sees 4 fingers and goes: hm. anyways
same lmao ive been trying to shift since like September and i recently found out that you can shift thru lucid dreaming so I am gonna try it. i hope this method works cause i have been trying to shift for so long ✋😭
i was literally using a shifting method to lucid dream
Has anyone had the
same dream multiple
times? Or had a dream
within a dream?
A dream inside a dream inside a dream... Trippy matrix-type flaws gave it out...
Yeah it was wierd. I got chased by people with bucket heads on scooters. I have had the Dream twice now
Instructions not clear, accidentally woke up in Chuck E Cheese for the second time this week.
i wish i was you

I’ve had the most control over my dreams in super light sleep when I’m aware that I’m falling asleep. Today as I was falling asleep I thought about what I wanted to dream about and I dreamt about it and dreamed about exactly what I wanted to. I want to be able to do that all the time. I can always remember dreams for a while but hopefully writing them down will help me remember longer and help me lucid dream more
did it?
@@cxmplicit I def remember them mire when I write them down but I don’t think I’ve lucid dreamt more frequently than before

xQuilly I mean when I get sleep paralysis it sometimes turns into something extremely lucid. So the possibility of the other way around is high.
I remember being in a wonderful orange autumn forest, there were many hills and a lot of leafs on the ground.
There was a big shelf right in the forest, full of the best toys you can imagine.
It was the best experience I have ever had.
Then I woke up, and was sad that everything was gone.
Whenever i realise i'm dreaming i get super excited and wake up immidiatelly
Don't trust the toilets in lucid dreams. Don't use them. I peed myself once when I was lucid dreaming.
Don't know if my fever had anything to do with it, but I accidentally had a lucid dream and it was so weird.
i done that and it was on my bday a couple years ago so my mates was over

Omg this happend to me when I was little so I wanted to go to the bathroom but I was super tired that night so I fell sleep again but I dreamt about going to the bathroom I thought it was real so I peed my pants... yea embarrassing
I once dreamed that I was sitting on the toilet and there was a turned on shower in front of me. And yes, I peed myself. So never sit on a toilet or pee in your dreams guys 🤣

Don't be, lucid dreaming takes commitment and practice but it is amazingggg way way more pros than cons
I have never had lucid dreaming
Well, me neither before I practiced. With some good practice of a few weeks, even one in some cases, you can get your first one
i love learning more about lucid dreaming as i’ve actually had many experiences growing up without even realising. one of the biggest moments that has stayed with me ever since was in a dream where i was running down the hallways in my house, i believe i was being chased by yoda xD anyway, i just suddenly felt truly aware, i pictured him disappearing and he did right away, then i began walking slowly down the stairs, toward a mirror which is by my front door. i stared into my reflection and it was so surreal that i woke up instantly, manifesting that i can do it even more now that i know what lucid dreaming is🤞
God: didn’t I patch this glitch?
It was unpatched in 2020 patch
funny easter egg left in.

Anyone else remember a dream from their early child hood? I remember one from when I was like 3
I remember being chased by a carnivore plant
Long time lucid dreamer, I remember many childhood dreams, though the earliest I can remember is from I was 6 or 7.
I had a dream where I threw up poop instead of vomit
I do. It felt soooo real but the world was completely different.
Weird!! 😕😕
Ever since quarantine, it's like I forgot how to dream
Syd Ney because nothing has happened therefore you don’t remember drink lots and lots of water and you’ll wake up throughout the night and remember
G C same I started a journal and I only wrote down 1 dream because every morning I don’t have anything. ANYTHING! It’s not even like I forgot it I feel like I just don’t dream! It’s so annoying
G C for me it’s the opposite I’ve dreamed so much more. Probably bc I’m actually sleeping now
Has already happened to me even before quarantine. I get like 1 dream every idk 1-2 months. Rn i think its been more than 3 months since ive dreamed
Inno i love nap dreams they are so vivid

I think u could better lucid dream it feels realistic

(This is a joke, don't murder me)
James F well hi
Then I'll be your nightmare
Blair C Hello
Josiah Benavides Greetings
The first method that actually worked, thank you kind sir.
Step 1: remember your dreams
Me: ok, guess I’ll never be able to lucid dream-
Doggie, you can!
Yakir Ey. Smoke for 1 month then stop and then you can lucid dream
Hahaha well stoping smokin after you did for a month nonstop can help with many things but doesn't really works when it comes to lucid dreaming 😂
