So am I..., joined a paid dating site for 6 months. And, apparently, it’s not for me. Out of the numerous men I met, or, “almost met”, 2 mistakenly thought I was wealthy, and tried to SCAM me! 😂 before we even met in real life! What a joke! The rest are on the wrong site! ( just looking to get lucky ). The rest have been on this site for 5 ! Yes, 5 years!!! Unbelievable! Oh, well, learned a lot, about myself and some men...
*“You would love for men to know this…”* Yes, of course we would. The question we must each ask ourselves: “Do *I* even know?” That was important - and actually difficult - to ask and answer. Yet it really opened things up about myself, to myself. Not only was I able to truly understand more of what I will and will not accept from a partner, I was able to strengthen my resolve regarding standing my ground with my standards in a kind way. More important than that: I learned what I will and will not accept from *MYSELF* . There used to be a time when I’d slip, I’d start to become submissive and bend to avoid feelings of abandonment. All that did was lead to me loosing myself. That was not ok. That’s not happiness, that’s living for someone else.
None of this can happen since most people like to ghost instead of communicate. Especially online. Some are completely immature and emotionally stunted.

Personally I've experienced it once, and i have no reaction, i'm pretty reasonable and calm. So you're wrong there. In that case i hadn't even spoken to the guy in a few weeks, when i reached out I got ignored.

Men subconsciously think sex leads to love? I'm not sure about that. Women do, but I think for men, sex is of value in and of itself. They love it with women they care for, and women they don't care for. It's like going to the bathroom...something they have to do on a regular basis. They don't always like the bathroom. 😁This is why it benefits women to hold back from sex until there's commitment or some assurance of real caring from the man, so she isn't used by men. Women don't really use men that often, and when they do, it's usually for financial or material gain. Sharing of values is critical. I didn't realize that for many years. A man who lies easily has a different value system from someone who doesn't lie about important things, and takes the knocks due by admitting he or she did something wrong. How do you find out if a man has a different value system by asking questions, if he's a liar? You find that out over time, by catching him in lies. That takes time, not questions, I think. By then, it may break your heart, and people will say "You don't choose the right man!", blaming you for someone else being deceitful. Maybe it's just luck, in the end.
Jonathan, I have started speaking to and just met a gentleman that I met on EH, That's what I call it, "EH." He is moving to the area, an hour away. We have both expressed that we are each looking for a healthy, loving mature relationship. We both listen to your content...and I feel I am learning.
