    Maybe it makes me an ahole but if the parents have abandoned their child… CPS 100% needs to be contacted. If there was no other option. Not everyone can just take in an extra child. 😢

      @ id honestly probably feel too bad to do it too lol 😩 ugh. the thing is though i would never blame a child for what his father did, i guess other people just think differently then us lol

    I'm pressing the seams of my newest (and only third sewing project) with a hair straightener, while I listen to this!
    I got a sewing machine for Christmas and my first project was a laptop sleeve, then reusable cotton pads, and now a half apron

    Hi love, I just wanted to share some insight about CPS. I work for my state’s DCYF, and honestly, you mostly hear the bad stories. I can’t speak for every state, but calling DCYF would probably be the best thing to do.
    1. The mom would be held accountable for abandonment.
    2. CPS has the tools to find family members, help pay for daycare if needed, and place the child with relatives-either temporarily or permanently. These relatives would get financial support, kind of like foster care, so they could care for the child while giving the dad time to get back on his feet.
    The dad wouldn’t lose his rights either. Even if the child did go into foster care, parents usually get at least a year or more to work on getting to a place where they can take care of their child. CPS always prioritizes reuniting families when it’s possible.
    In this situation, the dad might actually have a harder time getting the child back without a court or caseworker helping to guide the process.

    I just wanted to say-what you said about self love and healing yourself before getting in a relationship, and how loving and prioritizing yourself attracts men who will love and prioritize you, is so true and incredible advice!

    Personally, the thing I would recommend to the person that wrote in for advice, first and foremost is dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). It is a lot of work *and* it has improved and honestly I think I can say saved my life.
    I have a lot of compassion for this viewer and I hope she finds love and compassion for herself. ❤

      @@jamie.nelson98 I got all mine from a Siberian breeder in Florida who is retiring and rehoming all her young adults.
      The one I just got is only 2.5
      Usually even adults are like $800+ but she’s just rehoming for $150.
      Now I have 3 purebred Siberian cats at home, I can’t help it 😅

    The lexapro weight gain is so real. I've struggled with body image for years and lexapro threw me for a loop. I'm on 3 different psych meds and birth control (lady issues it's a whole mess) but Gosh it's taking me sooooo long to try and accept my body in its new form

    • @longlostgf
      @longlostgf 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      honestly the best thing i could say without risking spoilers is that it’s literally the question she shared and your answer as a tv show. it’s about a mentally ill woman who has a mental breakdown, quits her fancy job, and moves across the country from New York to West Covina, CA to be with her summer camp bf from high school after a chance encounter on the street. it’s also a musical, but probably not with the connotations of being a musical; a lot of it is satirizing or parodying different genres, and i like it but don’t like musicals much overall. but anyway, point is, it’s about a woman struggling with a bunch of stuff and making questionable to bad choices at the beginning but then gradually growing and learning how to love herself over the course of the show.
