you should educate yourself on the black lives matter concept. Its not saying all lives dont matter. Its saying we must focus on the issue at hand. and BLM has spoken on native suffering as well. Asian people too. Basically anyone of color should support BLM.

No one said Native American lives don't matter! Stop with this stupid nonsense! I'm sick of you people trying to convolute what the black lives matter movement is about! Do not dismiss their pain. When they fight for equality, protest are getting killed no one stands up for them. This is the first time we have all come together to help in their fight. Do not do that, they have been through enough!

Intergenerational trauma, my father had it . They stole our land in the name of God. He said natives wouldn't convert to their religion so they had no value to the white man, and they call US savages. I bought our land back last year.
    Miss you Daddy.

Oprah, I know you will never read this, but thank you for putting this on youtube. This is educational and depressing. America needs to know what was done, what was taken, and how it's first people are forced to live. These people are owed for the wrongs that Europeans and their descendants did to them. It's very telling that the two groups most victimized by colonizers, Natives and African Americans, are also the poorest with seemingly the most dysfunctional family legacies.

      Dark Feather
IT WAS AND STILL IS AN AGENDA.
      Anglo Saxon Mission.
Now there is a modern mission, that’s happening now.
I forget what it’s called but the Anglos , before they took the Africans, took White people for hundreds of years for slaves too. And continued to do so into the black slave trade.
These whites were much like the Native Americans and the Native African Tribes. Living With Mother Earth and all her Abundance. Giving thanks to the Great Spirit, that is now in organized religion called God(s).
I am born white of Northern European decent. But not raised in organized religion, as a child I had and still have a need to live with nature and fend for myself that the “ ways” of modern life has attempted many times to bring me to technology, providing my food, enticing with big everything.
But it never worked, the veil was always to thin and I am happiest having what I Need, and I HAVE ALWAYS HAD IT. Even becoming disabled in my twenties, could not bring me to dispair. And at 55, I have three great kids that are minded and same soul as me. Not trying to keep up with the Jones’s and not far from Spirit and Earth. Nourishing THIER body with organic food, and no processed or take out, very little drinking, no drugs.
I was poisoned by my environment or vaccines as an infant and live with pain all my life. I grew up with that pain, and somehow managed to adjust and it is part of me. It’s just me, lol but I get up each day and go into the woods and watch nature and tend my gardens.
I have felt , seen , and communed with Native Souls all my life. They smile because they know my Soul is not unlike theirs. I don’t know if they are interdimentional or are souls from the past, and I still feel them. I have always felt kindred with the plight. I have never understood what is still being done, I feel it like it’s happened to me.
I recently met a friend that told me he had a dream that explained our connection and his “ feelings” to watch over me” ( I was hoping he was not going to that soul mate thing, lol , I am alone , but I like it)
His dream was a quick clip of him as a pioneer, leading me, as a Native, large with child, on a horse to safety. That’s it, no more except he felt the child was born and I (she) lived a long life. Just a moment snapshot. So he feels the cycle has returned. So he checks up on me during this quarantine, and I am grateful.
Where I live in the NorthEast, Many Natives are among us. A girl my daughters age is one of my 5 quarantine group, ( we all live close and have agreed to be happy among eachother and not expose ourselves, we have woods, we have a lake, we have hunting, we have gardens... ect,.. so we all provide for eachother..... it’s like a tribe!!! Lol ( be careful fulnwhat you wish for, You just might get it and spirit has a sense of humor and Corona accomplishes it) 🤣 on a serious note, this is a Reset, to reset all the wrongs. To make Balance happen again.
This is our moment! There will be a shift!,.. back to BALANCE. Some will not survive, but many will , and we must REMEMBER.. our children’s children depend on it.
      And Spirit Is taking Retribution.

First of all, there's no need to play up of one over the other. Native lives matter would have been good enough and gotten your point across 🤷🏾‍♀️. I am of Native and Black ancestry, so comments like this are slick dismissive and unnecessary, regardless of your intention. Both groups have been pulverized by European colonization and they both have to fight their way upstream for generations to fight against unequal opportunities, due to the devastation that is visited upon us through the struggles of our ancestors, the government, colonization and slavery. All of these things still have a tremendous effect on both groups of people today. Furthermore, both groups have separate struggles that if you're not apart of either group, you wouldn't really be privy to, or be qualified to really speak on if you don't have to be/ know. So yes, black lives do matter. AND, Native lives matter just as much.
They both matter equally and deserve just as much consideration as the other. Both different and deserving of rights.

They do not accept that they must be miserable. Those are adults pounding into their heads that being miserable is normal. Love is just as contagious as hate. One can not force one into anything. Even the worst villain can not protect him or her from the courage and strength that these children have.

I've been saying this since George Floyd was murdered, I was also an advisor for the inter-tribal club back in 2001 2 and 3 the college that worked at I still even though they say it wasn't true witnessed a lot of racism. When the kids came to me and asked me if I would be there advisor I said I'm not Native American I'm Mexican.
They laughed they said they didn't care because they knew I truly love them! I have family that are Native and love them! And truly Mexicans are Native and everything else lol! Anyways we ended up having the biggest club in all the kids wanted to join our club black, Polynesian, Mexican, white, Asian everyone wanted to be in our club! But the uppers didn't like it I guess so they made a club called the international club! But our club was still the best and we worked hard saving enough money to go to gatherings of the nations in Albuquerque, New Mexico! Adam Beach was there and it was probably the biggest highlight those kids and myself was able to see! I took my husband and my son I never realize how many different tribes there were it was amazing! All we kept saying was what a beautiful beautiful people! We had performances come when we had our Native American month we have the best performances and the most attendances up to 500 people 600 people came from around the community to see comedian Drew copo, Apache, comedian Vincent Craig comedian Navajo who I believe passed away God rest his soul! Amazing comedians! We had fancy dancer, rainbow dancers, grass dancers, color guard, crown dancers, Hopi dancers, all kinds natives entertainment!
And the fry bread and Native tacos! Mutton and acorn soup!!! You name it we had it! all I can say is that I was tired of seeing the natives the black kid and polly kids Mexicans, getting treated different. Especially the black kids and the native kids.
I always had all their backs I was tired of people stereo typing them.
I was at a local Walmartwhere I live I saw a police officer with his foot on the back of a detained handcuffed facedown Native American who was drunk I recognized his friend I went up to the officer who was laughing in front of a lot of bystanders who laughing making fun of him because he was drunk! I told the officer are you kidding me he's not going nowhere! Shame on all of you you think this is funny! I told the officer get your damn foot off his back! and he did and I told him pick him up now so I went to go and help the guy get up and another officer recognized me saying I'll help you we picked him up and sat him on the bench and I yelled again at that other officer and said being an alcoholic isn't something you want to be it wasn't like your ancestors didn't take the liquor to the rez and give it to them after killing their buffalo and raping their women and killing their children all4gold so don't ever do this to another Native American in front of me buddy! And the crowd that was there because everybody knows who I am walked away I told them to leave it wasn't a show to see! I will always stick up for what's right no matter what the consequences are! My niece and nephew grandma is Apache and we just love her!
God bless you all stay safe during the Coronavirus take care of the older generation Young Generation your grandparents are very important listen to what they have to say you can learn something about real life God bless you all as read this!

While we toured the site, I heard their stories of their ancestors and face painting, etc. and I shared stories of my ancestors who danced and painted their faces blue and had to deal with barbarian hordes that took our lands and abused us, took our language, native dress, religion, and language. What a wonderful memory and sharing time. Learning how we were more alike than different. Love is understanding, yeah? Thank you brothers.

Beautiful people! I have always want to stop at a reservation and drop off supplies when in South Dakota but when you look on the charity web sites, they say crime is high and outsiders are not really welcome. Not all of us white people are bad and some of us have American Indian blood running through our veins as well, even though we are light skinned and appear white. When my art business takes off more one of my goals is to try to find a way to help these people, they need jobs offered where they live so they can make a income to stop this cycle of poverty. Peaceful, proud people my heart goes out to them, bless them.
