I just tried this with my “The Bradman” symbol that’s part of my profile, but a raster image in black and white. Zoomed in it was jagged. Using your technique here, the vector image is smooth and perfect!! Oh my word, Marty, THANK YOU!!! I am thrilled at the result and how simple it was!!! You the man!
The best part of your tutorials you explain each and every single step very clearly thanks for your patience very grateful for your hard work
Thank you very much!
Bloody brilliant
Allways Great ! tkhs !
thank you Marty
Thanks a lot, Marty!
Love you, Marty! You’ve helped me many times in my work! Thank you!
Amazing! And I gotta use the Patterns option a lot more 🎉
Thanks, Marty! ❤
I'll give this shot. Usually, I end up not too happy with the end results.
Also, colour overlays is great to reduce layers.
Thank you! This is awesome. Great video and a great tip.
Great time saving technique!
Can that vector image be editable in Illustrator and InDesign?
Thanks for these weekly video posts.
Yes, it's fully editable in other apps.
What an amazing technique!
Thank you for sharing it🙏🏻
Been watching since the displacement map video, which i think is such a cool technique.
Is there a new or easier way of doing it? Photoshop has changed quite a bit and i was wondering if you still go about it the same way or if there’s a quicker way.
Keep it up, really enjoy the channel 👍🏻
Thank you! PS hasn't yet added a feature that displaces Displacement Maps.
ЭТО ТАК ПРИКОЛЬНО МОНТАЖ СУПЕР УДАЧИ ТЕБК В РОЗВИТИЙ Я В ТЕБЯ ВЕРЮ)
There is an amazing technique its actually faster than this and thata by go to a web site converter to vector, and it works significantly, tnx for the idea btw didn't know that u should do that
Is this a plugin? I used to have to use the pen tool or Illustrator's Smart Trace.
No plug-in. 👍
👏👏👏👏👏.
How interesting! Does this work better than using the Image Trace function in Illustrator?
This is much quicker.
Hi Marty and everyone! I'm struggling with something... once the capture is saved when I drag it back on the artboard/canvas I get a pop up message "Could not place because the PostScript data is empty or invalid"? I'm copying everything step by step - what could be my error? Thoughts?

Have same error message
Hi, any possible way to convert jpeg to AI vector (not image tracing in illustrator- we don't get curves properly) may be in PS or AI or any other software
There are a lot software out there that converts raster to vector:
videoconverter.wondershare.com/convert/vector-converter-alternative.html
convert the image to a shape and export as a svg in photoshop by using legacy export as select svg
Seems a great tutorial, but I keep running into the same error message, when I pull the extracted image onto the white layer: "Could not place because PostScript data is empty or invalid". Any clues as to why this happens? The process leading up to this works fine, and I can see the extracted image in my library so what gives?

Hey Marty,
Can you make videos using the free open source graphic design tool GIMP? 🐭 🎨
I can’t afford Adobe Photoshop’s yearly subscription, it’s too expensive for me.
Sorry, I've never used GIMP. Fortunately, there are many TH-cam videos about GIMP.
@@BLTV_Photoshop ok, I keep looking for those.
Чумовой ролик
This is a repeat. I was really hoping you would provide a new tutorial.
Actually, it IS a new tutorial. The method in this video is much quicker than in my other tutorials on the subject.
I recant my previous comment. I look forward to your tutorials. The bauhaus poster, the Swiss typographical poster, the letterpress, and the one with Elvis were a few favorites. I guess I like the more artsy stuff.
