My first ever "iPod" was a FiiO M6. Honestly, I was too poor to own a legit Apple iPod, I wanted to own one back then seeing people like DankPods did. Honestly, I wonder what it is like carrying around a 2TB music player, I could barely buy a 1TB Micro SD, DankPods iFlash modding was something I always wondered if it was worth the effort for a storage you probably won't fill up for quite a while.
I don't know if the iPod is able to support that much memory because fiio makes products and claims that their products can support up to 2TB. But overall, that is a awesome looking product.
HOWEVER.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND going for the full terabyte. Anything over 50000 songs will start to cause problems with the software, causing random reboots etc... And that is about half full.... 512 GB is less of a waste of space.
for this I used the iFlash quad with 4 256GB SD cards www.idemigods.com/iFlash_Quad_iPod_Quad_MicroSD_Adapter_p/iflsh_qd.htm and for the backplate. www.idemigods.com/iPod_6th_7th_Classic_1TB_Rear_Panel_Back_Cover_p/6g_bckcvr_1tb.htm NOTE: building more than 512GB is kinda pointless, as this stops working smoothly once you get to around 50k tracks, which only takes about 500GB..... The rest of the storage is kinda superfluous, to say the least.
Miles Tippett Thank you for the informative response, now for another question and I haven’t seen anyone talk about this, if you have a terabyte can you put 50k songs and fill the rest with movies, I know there are better mediums to watch movies on but I’ve always thought it would be neat to have my whole movie collection on an iPod, would that many movies effect the responsiveness or anything?
Miles Tippett Thanks for the advice, loved the video it was kinda short tho, I wouldn’t have minded you talking about what you have done to it, Have a good one 🙂
It's brighter than my teeth and my future.
You even have a future💀💀💀
finally, enough space for me and my 2 songs from the minecraft soundtrack!

Why do you call a FiiO M6 an "iPod", it's not an iPod and what you're saying is wrong wether it's in quotation marks or not, it's a music player.
@@Secondarian Yeah, that is why the "iPod" is in quote marks, it'a sarcasm.
Frank would be proud
Nice nugget mate I also modded my iPod!
Hope u loaded it with scarlet fire!

Yes, you have the case. You have the metal back with 1TB...but does it play Shrek, mate?

boy he got da dad case mate
How did you nanage to get 58,000 tracks on there?
The second he put that in the case it gained 1000 scratches and lost the shine
There are a few, but even a year later, its still pretty pristine!
I came down to the comments to see if dankpods saw this
huh 6 days afther my birthday this was made

Cool case where did you get it?

How did you make the metal backplate like that?

nice eye pod
Is that the thick or the thin version of the back case?
Thick. It is required for the 3000mah battery
@@MilesTippett Nice, planning to do that build soon as well.
No lo recomiendo

@@MilesTippett okay thanks, I already knew of the “max storage” of this gen of iPods and I soon plan on modding an iPod mini to 128gb

No. That's way above my pay grade!
