    Hi, Rubens. InterNACHI requires the completion of our 90-hour training course (online & free for our members) to become a certified home inspector.

    Can you make $100,000 a year doing home inspections or is that far fetched. Would commercial be better?

      I know many very successful home inspectors that make much more than that. The service is in demand. About 4 to 5 million existing homes sell in the US every year, and most of them are inspected by home inspectors.

      Code inspectors are for code inspections. Home inspections are completely different than code inspections. We love to hear that our code inspectors make a great living by running home inspection businesses.
