Hey there, I discovered your channel a few days ago and this video happened to pop up on my YT feed, and as a person who was born and raised in Saint-Martin (French side), I am truly humbled for you to come all the way from Europe and share to your community this incredible piece of land in the middle of the ocean. I left the island 2 weeks ago to stay a few months in France, and will be coming back home by October this year. Truly, Air France's A330-200 is a very confortable plane and now that Air Caraïbes' A350 does not land in SXM anymore (goes via Guadeloupe), the A330 is the biggest plane that comes to this airport. KLM also uses an A330-200. I miss the days when I was younger and I could witness the 747 and the A340 ! All in all, I found you randomly on TH-cam and now I have become an avid fan. All the best and safe travels ! 🏝☀
I returned from SXM two weeks ago. I had a blast. I couldn't go to the beach everyday but I went to as many times as I could while I was there. It had been so long since I was on a beach. I had a blast! And yes, that airport is something else. Every pilot should try it least once. 😆

Just went to St Martin solo for graduation, stayed on the French side (use to live there 10 years ago), arguably, St Maarten is the best place for aviator fans... (also, driving there is constantly saying in a Caribbean accent "Jesus will save us! OH lord we will not die" *while clapping your hands*..."
Next vlog series go to lax to the in n out house a classic Murican burger and watch for the planes and if you to miday around 12-1 you get a Lh 748 and Emirates A380 in just a few hours
i live in anguilla which is the island right next to saint maarten. u can actually get a boat ride to go to anguilla from saint maarten or anguilla to saint maarten
i had a lucky opportunity to visit st marteen and this airport had to be one of the best I have been to next to it on the beech there was a café/ bar where it had arrival times and next plane to land so you could time the photos perfectly
