My iPhone 15 works much better on 17.5 b4 than on 17.4.1 - it heats up less while playing, the battery drains noticeably slower and I haven't had a problem with the alarm clock. The only thing I regret is the upgrade from 17.3.1, which worked even better.
I can never work these reviews out, 15PM on 17.5 b4, and absolutely no problems, my WiFi speeds are identical to the last beta and indeed all previous beta’s and final releases, cell connections are fine as well, I’m also running this beta on my iPad and Apple TV without problem, and battery life is good with 8hrs 56m screen active time and still at 64% The only difference’s I can see is I’m in the UK and use dual sim’s Three and EE, but most of that active time has been on WiFi, with 3 hours on a cell network with a strong connection
My 14 PM could never stay connected to the WiFi so I quit altogether. Never connect my phone to the WiFi anymore. It was really frustrating after a year and a half.
Question. If I am turning off automatic updates on my iPhone 13 Pro Max should I also turn off “security response & systems file“ as well? Is that take part in the new update? Edit: should I also turn off iOS updates.
The security response is different type of update from Apple usually very small in size. The iOS updates is what 17.5 falls under so you can leave security response off as well. @@artemisXsidecross the main issue isn’t the security responses but the problems are with the major updates like iOS 17.5 and also security response updates can be downgraded if you want while regular iOS updates cannot
