🙌 NEW iPhone SCAM You NEED To Know about!
th-cam.com/video/6nnHqwpVKYQ/w-d-xo.html
I close apps for two simple reasons;
1) To clean up the carousel so there’s less apps to scroll through when switching between more than two apps.
2) It’s good at the end of the day to clear the deck for a fresh start tomorrow.
The only apps I persistently leave open are those that need to be open in the background to function.
“… Need to be open in the background to function” - that is exactly what’s wrong. iOS will decide what to run on the background, based on the application itself rather than on what you decide to keep running. Apple confirmed this multiple times. Other than this, your first reason is more of a personal preference, and no body can tell you what to do to feel better with you phone! But the technical aspect is another thing.
no your phone does that automatically. its totally nonsense
point 2, source: pulled up from your a$$
Sometimes I also swipe away all the apps in there, but only when I'm intending to switch between specific apps, such as during travel or photography/editing.
You should only refrain from closing apps religiously if you're doing it for performance/battery - that is unnecessary.
The apps need to reload anyways; they’re just a black slab of nothing in the background.
I always see that when I close apps the battery drains a lot slower. I don’t mind waiting to reload an app if it means saving battery life
Exactly.
turn off background app refresh in settings
I noticed when I don’t close apps they use ton of battery in the background! So if closing them require some battery to open it up again, I don’t think it’s worse than letting these apps cook ur battery in the background!
This comment 💯
Agree
Check your settings bro.
There’re two settings you should take a look at them:
1- Background App Refresh: just toggle off the apps that consuming your battery
2- Settings> App Store> In-App Content
Toggle this off also and you’ll see a different in your battery health
Facts
Your speaking facts🗿🗿
I close some things because I know I am not going to need them for awhile. Other things that I use on an ongoing daily basis stay open. I do that because I like things to be a bit cleaner.
that's not the case he's referring to of course, yours is a valid one
My battery is longer when i close apps..I test it
You always give some of the best advice
Thanks for the video, great explanation, I always swipe to get rid of the apps😢, no more 😀
Happy To See You Anytime Love You Forever ♾ !!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🏻
Thank you so much for the information 👍
My pleasure
I used to be android user and like many, I used to always close down all apps. I learned at some point that iOS does great at optimizing with keeping apps in check. I actually watched a side-by-side comparison and iOS is impressively effective.
No. I will close the app if I want to. I know most apps will refresh all the time.
I turned off App Tracking as soon as Apple introduced the toggle.
Thanks much - I'm new to iPhone - always had Android phones before - and this kind of info is very helpful. Take care, God bless.
Too bad this isn’t accurate information
Finally a slow enough explanation to completely understand! Thank you!
I always close them so when I open say a weather app it’s current. Sometimes if left open it won’t refresh until I manually refresh them. Maybe that just the app I don’t know.
Thank you!
Ios 17.2.1 here, for the first few days the battery was very bad but after a week it got okay and now i get like 6-8 hrs screentime again. My guess is that maybe the phone is still processing the update for the firsr few days might be the reason why the battery drains. I noticed that my phone got faster too. The only problem is that some apps got buggy
I get 10-12 hours on same software
Indexing is done after any OS update. This process can take more than 24 hours, which is in line with your experience.
Anyone update to 17.3.1? Any issue?
I love your Lock Screen can you share please!?
Closing apps would improve performance for other apps
I never manually close apps on my phone unless there’s a problem
I'm too much into that habit. I don't think I can leave apps open.
@@portman8909Same, I’m obsessive about it lol.
@@portman8909same
You would be surprised how many people do this especially when you trying to fix there phone they want to close all their pages
@@portman8909same here and i picked that up from android cus i normally was an android user for long 😅
I update apps manually because some of them update every day or two - they are just slamming new code for you to test for them!
Nice video. Keep it up
Hi, do we know what the following service is really used for (in practice) System services > important places
Love you forever !!! ❤
I use the low power because the ding in performance isn't really hindering what I want to do. The battery drain is ridiculous even though the health says 83% and is supposed to still be ok.
Iphone 12 pro max
83% battery health is very close to 80%, which is the point where you need a new battery
@@CodedEnough no you should change when you cant use your phone the entire day
@@chicken_wing1235 80% is apple’s limit, they recommend you get a new battery at that or below
Most people change their battery around that amount of battery health lost.
80% is just what Apple recommends, not necessarily the required point that you should change the battery. I’ve seen lots of people not really care, and juice the battery till it can’t survive.
I love that Lock Screen
Tip- to share the PW with ppl they must be added to your contact list.
Not sure if that’s the case with airdrop.
nice video 🤩👍🏻
The time on your front screen? wat customize app u used?
Once you share your wifi network they can then look up the password by looking in their known networks and tapping to view the password.
Unless they changed that in iOS recently.
Good vid
Where you get your lock and background wallpaper?
And the Safari «screen idle» battery usage is always good for draining your battery overnight 😊
@@AnonymityA It was a bug on my 14PM, and now my 15PM. Unless I manually close the Safari app, the Screen idle will show many hours of usage. If I systematically close Safari, then my Screen active time will display 8+ hours, and Screen idle will show 6 minutes.
this video is misleading careful guys don’t follow what the hell he’s talking about
I used to force close apps until iOS 8, took a lot of effort to stop this bad habit
Any change in the battery life ?
Just close apps in the background and leave apps that you use regularly.
It can be beneficial for some apps to track you. Rather than a blanket ban, turn off the feature in individual apps.
What are the benefits of apps tracking you?
Oh I know the answer: Violation of privacy.
There’re no benefits of apps tracking you bro, total nonsense.
@@nasseralsharifindeed.
I always clear history / tabs once a day, so there !
I’d never manually close apps but if my iPhone has like 80 apps running in the background I’d close them
leave apps in the backround ? what about the ram ? one reason for doing it is because i need the ram back !
@iDeviceHelp One thing I wish I COULD figure out how to do; Change my iPhone 15 Pro Max's clock from the boring round "analog" clock to the one I see here smh no luck & Google isn't helping
List out apps for iphone
7:30 you can just click edit and see the password directly with the other phones face id
You’re the only one that says NOT to use the close app feature.
The link for the wallpapers is no longer available 😢😮😢
How do you check it
How do you get in scarlet on iPhone
one Q bro ios new update 17.2.2 date plzz
Having location on! Is the worst thing ever for consuming batteries life!
What’s that Tom and Jerry wallpaper it’s dope
Edit: nvm he said were it was right after lmao
Wow how do you get the Tom and Jerry Lock Screen?
I do experience longer battery life when I close apps, especially apps like camera, and maps.
this video is misleading careful guys don’t follow what the hell he’s talking about
@@user-mx8mw2sj1hright
How can I use this wallpaper
I just got the new iPhone and I love it but made the mistake of closing the apps every time I used it on my old phone thank you for the feedback
can you use low power mode all day if you want to or is it harsh on battery
maybe this time actually watch the video
@@LittlePaavo fair enough, in that case he's retarded because the answer is there
I used it on my iphone SE, Iphone 8 and iphone SE 2022 for many years everytime I charged it up, I had no issues. The performance was still absolutely okay and my battery was healthy. He is talking about a lot of crap in the video. If you don’t use an application for many hours you should close it, cause it will run in the background and it won’t be good in the longterm…
@@patrik455you complain about crap yet your last sentence is a master piece example of what you are complain about
I found the wallpaper in pinterest. Its not black and white originally, he just used the black and white styles. ☺️
Where did you get that Tom & Jerry wallpaper?
Yes!!! Please answer huhu
i believe someone made a template and posted in reddit
Low power mode does not really help with battery life on the iPhone 12. It’s been better on iOS 17.2.1.
Tip: upgrade
@@heyolorennscaution:Apple employee
What about 17.3.1 are you good with that?
Thank you. Watching without an Iphone.
Closing apps consume more battery than keeping them running in the background?
This is not true and no clue why would anyones think this could be true
Coudnt find wallpaers os there another way
the hell are you talking about 😂 it consumes more battery if you let that app standby specially when your phone is in lock mode
How to speed network bro
Battery drain issue in 1ios 17.2.1 very bad update 16% battery drain in night 😢😢😢
How u feel the 5g ? Drain more battery ?
it does as it should be.
based on my experience, my battery drains longer when I close all my apps...I'm not what you said...
I'm guilty I close my apps too I will never do it again 🧑⚖️🧑⚖️🧑⚖️🧑⚖️
I always close apps
I’ve always had a habit to subconsciously close my apps so I’m not sure I can help it
I’m whaching this in 3AM
You sound like Heath Ledger’s Joker
Does Leaving apps in background drains more battery? Anyone please answer this i’m new to iphone
Probably yes
Payetteforward says otherwise
Tell Google maps to stop tracking ?
On my 15 pro and it last all day, plus some!
Same with my 13 pro max it last a whole day .sometimes 2
when I did that my iphone overheated while charging
ALSO, NEVER OPEN VOICE OVER IN ACCESIBILITY
Apple even tells you to close your apps what is this guy talking about
At least he makes a effort to make the videos for you guys but yoll don’t appreciate it
Clock widget please?
Default clock widget in iPhone
How does closing an app use more battery or data? That doesn’t make any sense whatsoever
It uses processing power to open an app, it was designed like that, the IOS. watch more yt vids to satisfy your curiosity.
It’s a load of crap, closing the apps makes no difference
I paid the whole phole i use however i want
yo guys whats your battery health number on iphone 14 pro?mine is at 88% after 1year and 4 months not so great :/
Mine is also at 88% after about 14 months.
And what if your battery health itself is crap mine is down to 79%
Get a battery replacement then, instead of complaining on TH-cam videos 🙄
@@davidjacobs6244 I should
😂😂
How did you get 17.3? My 15 Pro Max says 17.2.1 is the latest.
He's running the 17.3 beta
Wall new thank
Android user don't care that much about battery, just because apple has given the option to see battery life, people are worried about battery.
My iPhone 11 is so network bad😞😞😞
The first one is dubunked, it is recommended but apps are not flawless and run into bugs so you it doesn’t matter
Puking on your iPhone is one thing you should never do!
This is weird. You work for apple ?
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m only here for the wallpapers
The app address
This is bad information. An open app does consume energy for sure, even though it’s not much. So closing them overnight for example saves a lot of battery. Closing safari after every use doesn’t make much sense, but closing them when you’re not going to use them makes a lot of sense and saves battery.
no it doesnt
This is bullshit. Do some research next time.
No
I agree. It was some reverse psychology bs.
When you share your WiFi password, the person you shared it with can actually SEE the password. You failed to mention that valuable piece of information!!!!!!
It cost money to leave apps open
on data usage
lool, what a bs ffs
Amazing an app can cause a phone to overheat, while doing nothing.
I had to watch 5min of ads to watch this video. TH-cam is crazy. I ain’t paying for premium. I rather stop watching TH-cam altogether before I pay
😂😂 Same here
wallpaper link plz
It dont work
