- This non-liturgical hymn, arranged to the melody of Agni Parthene, was compiled by a student at the Holy Cross Seminary. It is chanted by Dn. Chrysostom Gilbert and ison by Fr. Demetrios Kazakis.

My story begins like this, I see the Lord's hand from the time of my conception in my life, My Mom wanted to abort me, I was saved due to the efforts of a Doctor who is a Catholic Nun, All my chilhood memories are flooded with how I searched for God, I was very much involved in all religious activities but I still did not have the real peace in his heart. I often wondered, “After all these religious ceremonies which I am performing every day, am I in right relationship with God? Is he drawing closer to me? My earliest encounter with Christ was big image of the Sacred Heart, I always felt called by Him, During classes and even at break I used to look at Him, the day His eyes met mine, He never left me, I still was a stauch Hindu, I wanted to overcome my karma by performing devotional rituals, but fear of death and reincarnation had overcome me, the words of Christ to Martha has set me free " I am the Ressurection", I followed Jesus right from I was 11, I was hated by my family and relatives for my faith in Him, but the Lord was gracious enough to take me into His fold when I was 16, I was baptized along with my Mom and maternal Grandmother into the Church. Jesus my Savior, my King my all in all changed my life, there is no meaning to life without Him.

God sent his only son to die for all the sins of this world a sacrifice was made to this world.. Yet the two thieves on both sides of the cross is a symbolic message or a mirror image of human beings who is wicked and evil 😈 one of them who is on the left decided not to accept the gift (eternal life) which christ is still on the cross laid up for us.. He choose to doubt an said this. 'if thou be the son of God save yourself and then save us'.. Like the pharisees.. But the thief on the right hand side of the cross said the most beautiful words.. 'does thou art not fear God seeing that thou art in the same condemnation.. We received what we deserved but this man did no sin and he didn't deserve this punishment.. Lord remember me when thou come into Paradise' an Jesus Christ ❤️ said unto him.. I promise thee that thou shall be with me this day in paradise.. Amen ❤️

I just have a humble question to my Christians friends here as a Muslim please help me by answering it like in this chant One of the sentence was it was Jesus who appeared on the burning bush but in the Old Testament it was the father almighty who appeared and spoke to Moses.Iam aware of the fact that my Christian friends believe in the trinity but aren’t u conflicting between persons when u say it was the son who came to speak to Moses in the burning bush instead of the father ?
Jesus called himself the same name as the ‘I am’ in the burning bush in Exodus. “Before Abraham was, I am.” His claim was so radical that you can read that the jews tried to stone him for blasphemy because He said that he was the God of the Exodus.
We believe that Christ was both entirely God and entirely man. Similarly, we believe that each aspect of the triune God is a distinct entity, but also parts of one entity. We do not try to understand the nature of God, because we cannot. The best we can do is get a better idea by understanding what He is not.

The people of Israel, to give respect to the Yahweh, sometimes wrote his name as 'Adonai', not 'Yahweh', and Adonai in Hebrew means 'Lord' in English. So in the Scriptures it is written 'Jesus is Lord', where Lord means Adonai, which means Yahweh. So it is safe to say then that Jesus, who is Lord/Adonai/Yahweh, was the One speaking from the burning bush.
Additionally, Jesus himself declared himself to be the very same Yahweh, the Father, that the Israelites believed in.
Making himself not only equal with God, but God himself, triggered the religious leaders and caused his death.
It is our belief that it was God the Son who appeared to the Prophets as the Angel of the LORD and that it was he who pronounced the Great and Terrible Name of YHWH in the Burning Bush. Jesus also claimed to have met Abraham in the Gospel of John which sort of strengthens the idea that it was the Son who revealed himself to the Prophets.
