Just wanted to say, I'm really enjoying this series. I have restored one tractor, repainted another, and currently looking for another project to start. Your videos keep me enthused! Keep them coming!!!! Cheers from the west coast of Canada.

OK ignore my first comment about explaining every part etc. This is very easy to follow.

Good series Lance. Would be interested to see you pull the gear box off...I have to change rails and forks in my 35.

G Day Jamie, I dont need to do that on this one it is as quiet as a mouse so I thought I would leave it alone. I still have a few tractors to restore yet so probably see it come up.

I have a 35 Ferguson and want to change the oil in the gearbox and hydraulics as it is milky. How much oil does it take, what oil do I use and where is the drain plug(under the footplate on the left side?) Thanks, mate.

    Hi
I am a fan of magnets in gear boxes. If you don't have them add them.
    Thanks

G Day Dennis, I have magnetic drain bungs on the FE35. Very little on them when I pulled them out, most of what you see in the diff is dirt.

G Day John, The tractor is a 1957 model, I dont think the center has been apart before but I do suspect the l/h carrier bearing has been replaced.
