transport the Native American way- the tumpline

Mostly, Native Americans are associated with the horse as transport way, but thats just a little part of the daily life. In the eastern woodland region, there were less horses and I want to show you the tumpline from the eastern people, as it was used in the 18th century,

Interesting... Was the webbing knotted or made using some type of crocheting hook? Also...what is yours made of? I'm not aware of what kind of fabrics the natives were growing .
