In A Bridge Too Far
Brigadier General James Gavin was played by Ryan O'Neal.
Elliot Gould played Colonel Robert Stout.
Correct. I wound up catching that film again for the first time in ages a few weeks ago.
Oh noooo! The opening music hahahaha. Awesome video pat! I've played this mission before and it's loads of fun, glad to see you guys had a great time too!
Thanks! This was a good one. Some highs and lows in there lol
Good game, awesome terrain! I never seen anyone rollas many 5s or 6s than the Germans and still lose the game lol. You didn’t play the Tiger Fear rule which could have helped the Germans. Gavin was played by Ryan O Neal. Elliot Gould played Col. Sink.
Thanks much appreciated. We generally don't like the Tiger fear rule and forget to use it often, even if it would have helped lol. My dice are at times hot and then frigid. You're right I just happened to watch that film again recently.
So another great report!!! Also liked how every roll was described so people new can follow and learn the game as well. Maybe use a dice tray as where you were rolling that big tree was always blocking some of the rolls. The dice really abandoned you there near the end!!!
Thanks! Much appreciated. I've been working on some faction dice trays to drop anywhere needed as well as some static ones to place on the board side that are under camera. Hoping to have them on the next one. My dice were either piping hot or freezing cold. Chris' rolls were there when he needed them.
Great to see another bat rep! Glad your back and looking forward to see what else you've got in store
Awesome thanks for the support! Still deciding on which scenario to tackle next!
Your tables always look so good, it's such a pleasure to watch these reports!
Thank you! More are coming shortly!
Great battle report, thanks for sharing. I have played this scenario too and it was a solid win for the Americans as well. A difficult scenario for the Germans I think.
Thanks much appreciated! I feel I didn't move those tigers fast enough. Stalling for a turn to shoot didn't do me any favours. I still have night sweats over this one lol
So I have played this scenario 3 times- and all 3 times it was a relatively easy german victory. Herman Goering troops either on ambush or running using trucks or halftracks mean they can swamp the objectives.
I was too slow
Cool battle report. Now I'm building my AP Starter.
Thanks for watching much appreciated!!
@@overthetopgaming8498 Have a great day.
@@goforitpainting good luck on the starter!
So glad to see y’all playing through the new Italy campaign books. Some of the best books imo. Avanti savoia!
Thanks! Yes so far pretty impressed with these two books. Getting the terrain together is quite the challenge as the boards in the scenarios are quite rich in presentation.
He's back!!
Yes Sir!
