This scene is suppose to make them look like epic badass heros but it just makes them look like villains.
The fire behind them with rising plumes of smoke to the sky . The speech given to them by black cop about dead soldiers and destruction of property . The willingness to murder even though they have been offered a peaceful resolution multiple times
As well as the fact that blue represents heros and goodness while red represents evil and pain . Pax is wearing red while the cops are wearing blue .
Edit: orange also represent aggressiveness, impulsiveness and arrogance . pax is wearing a orange hat

These chapters keep getting shorter. Almost like they only had 5 worth of story and had to cut them up and really stretch them out with pointless sections of "talking about everyone's feelings" jammed in every chance they could.
The abandoned house chapter felt exactly like this

1: you are not gonna kill this guy, are you? of course not.
3 seconds later they summon a monster and kill at least 20 people
2: c.t only had to pull her from the tracks, that has to be the most lame sacrifice in video games history
3: you saw the poem guy heal a shotgun wounded person, why is zee saying "what kind of poem is that do something good", my god, is like going to the hospital and watch a doctor using a scalpel and your first reaction is "wtf doctor you using a knife on a person? are you nuts?"

The cops are really the good guys in this plot. Pax is leaving a pile of bodies and destruction everywhere she goes.
I think if so many characters look useless is because they are too many so the devs don't really know what to do with them. Just Pax (because she is the main character), the little girl, the poet and CT would be enough honestly, Pax attacks, the poet heals, CT cares, and the girl keeps the plot somehow interesting i guess ┐(´ー｀)┌
This game is so bad it makes me want to write a fanfic of it: the normal story but better written
If u were to rewrite this, make it so sol dies to the train, so we lose he God like powers. Pax being stabbed means nothing when buddy just says a poem, and all is healed.

I am impressed this game has white man who isn't ""villain"" in the story. But I'm unimpressed how people snap from sitting position to standing position, I would assume standing up animation is few decade old technology
Standing animations are hard. They would have to skip their 60 min mental break. God knows the devs for this game need all the mental breaks they can get

Ct never even had to step on the tracks. Only Pax's head was on the tracks so all CT had to do was pick her up by the arm and they would both be standing off the tracks.

this is the part were it goes off the rails completly (pun intended) they phone in the rest of the game,shit just happens for no reason and all continuity goes out the door like they ran out of money and had to rush to finish the game dispite getting government funding and having 8 years development time,this game is the f$ing worst.
They differently gave up halfway through. I bet the ending gonna be next level dumb. I can't wait to see how it ends
