Car: Barn find - Morris Cooper S Mk2 Rally car. First drive since 1984. Fully restored subframes, suspension, and Cooper S engine with Arden 8-Port cylinder head. Titan 1.3 roller rockers. Twin 40 DCOE Weber carbs. Genuine 4-sync straight-cut close-ratio gearbox with straight cut drop gears and LSD. Lumenition optronic ignition. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
That's really well jetted; not a single backfire, misfire or splutter. Superb.
Those stub rams are obviously the right length for the capacity and jets too, which goes a long way to stop fuel standoff, which stops backfires, misfires and stutter at source.
I noticed one seems to turn under vibration 😮

Fantasic car Just out curiosity what carbs are using obviously Weber's but what's the tipo number as this makes a big difference in terms of flats spots and how much fuel you use and power you make

@@thomasjensen4360 Hei Thomas, jeg bygger opp en 68 s med 1293 med Arden og 45weber, skal i bremsebenken i løpet av uken. Vet du om den MK2 Rally bilen deres har vært brukt i løp i gamle dager ? Tenker på om kombinasjonen Arden og Weber er noe som vil kunne bli godkjent i HTP Historic
