As a woman who is 50, I would say that some form of resistance training should be pursued when you get into your 30s, as your body will start to lose muscle then. I used to also never work out when I was younger (I didn’t “need” to), but noticed my body starting to look less “shapely/youthful” in my 30s. I now do weight training along with other activities regularly, and I’m sure I “need” to do so to maintain my physique.

I'm so glad to see someone is into stomach vacuums. It's been my frequently done exercise since my university days till date and I'm reaping the benefits. My waste line is always looking snatched, always. Stomach vacuum is highly underrated. Thank you so much Ally ❤, I'm definitely going to include the posture exercise to my minimalist exercise routine 😅

you have an incredible voice as has been commented in previous videos. when you voice over, as opposed to speaking directly to camera, the cadence of your voice changes to be slower and more rhythmic which is what some may interpret as more genuine or engaging. in all likelihood, this bubbly, imperfect but equally as sincere direct to camera address is more you irl than the other. try not to listen to the naysayers

The human Head weighs on average between 8-12 lbs… A very large head upwards of 15… But that’s pretty rare, definitely not 40 pounds. The kicker is that every time you move your head forward, over the axial plane of your body, the weight of your head and stress on your joints is compounded (increases in weight by poor posture). So, posture is absolutely necessary in having a healthy spine over the course of your life…even just bending over to read on your phone throughout the day constantly is increasing the weight of your head because it is not aligned in the axial plane of your body - aka, standing erect, in proper alignment and proper posturing.
Love you Alexandra 💖… I’ve been subscribed and following you for many years.

I will always be a fan of Alex's videos, message, and intention here on yt. That said, I'd like to mention that there is something that can happen if you tend to suck your stomach area in all the time, which is that it can create bad tension in areas of the pelvis that shouldn't be tight all the time. Pelvic floor issues can be common among women, and it's been a couple of different physical therapists who have talked about how holding tension knowingly or unknowingly in the abdominal regions can lead to undesirable longer term effects on the lower body overall. Alex never says to do this tightening exercise all the time, but it may be good to be sure to release and relax those areas following the exercise. And be aware of continually holding any unnecessary tension in the stomach region.

I love this video! I’m turning 38 this year and have had a lot of different fitness routines as well. I love exercising but I don’t like being forced to or being stressed about it. Unless you are using exercise as a tool to lose weight then it should be fun and flexible. When I feel energized I exercise. I have a TRX and PowerBlock dumbbells at home and I love them both. Sometimes I want to dance. I always learn something totally new from you and I just tried the stomach vacuum exercise and it’s harder than it looks 😂 I’ll keep working on it. Thanks and love you!
