We do use a disc cleaner as part of our operation. This video was taken prior. We are always evolving our firewood production process to become more efficient
@@eliteoutdoors2748 Is your disc cleaner / tumbler one made by Multitek? Reason I ask is, Because my 1st cousin bought a new one from them. And absolutely swears by it.
Yes we do. They only bring us Oak, Hickory, and Cherry under 24” diameter. For the most part they do a great job on log selection and they stack it neatly for us around 16’ tall because we have limited space. It’s a great way to get logs that takes us zero time. Just money!
@@eliteoutdoors2748 thanks for the reply I live in Arkansas and have a tree service and do firewood and have been looking into getting a processor and buying logs
@@JacobSchmittDeerHuntingSchool firewood is a great business for the winter. We usually sell out every year by New Years and then restock the wood shed by late February. Best of luck to you! My advice is if you plan to scale the business buy the best processor you possibly can. Processors under $50k really aren’t worth having unless all you’re running is perfect 8-10” poles
@@eliteoutdoors2748 you mean sience January 2012? Love your operation. We got a nonprofit addiction farm we started and we want to get the guys cutting wood for income to help pay for the place.

As someone who’s a big fan of wood I find this video very appealing
this is an awesome set up you have. Thanks for sharing!
Sweet operation. Looks well run and highly organized.
Thank you! We try to improve a little every year
The more organized the more money you can make
Awesome set up!
very clean operation
first thing I saw,
Thanks for the video. Do you find the automated Tumblers or screeners not useful? I didn't see any being used in the video.

Do you know the lifting capacity of that S330 and the size of the bucket and how much wood that bucket holds?
The s330 will lift 5,000 lbs. that bucket is 1.8 cubic yd but heaped up will hold over 2yd. A heaped bucket is a face cord or 1/3 of a cord
We also have a t190 bobcat and it will actually handle that bucket. Just can’t dump in taller trucks/trailers
Awesome video
Thanks! More videos to come
Great video!
Nice operation . Yall are semi local to me
Thats so badass.
what is the name of that music Kinda relaxing
Why would you ever put logs down in the mud without bedder logs first
It would probably make more sense for me to see how the larger firms do it.
Do you buy your logs from loggers

Nice
better get company name and DOT #'s on those trucks before you get tickets.

May not even be his trucks. If owner is buying firewood for his personal use none of that is needed.
@@JohnDiMartino that's true but with that size of operation they are most definitely doing delivery and their website says they do.
