I just started a snail, farm and my family have been sooooo helpful taking care of it. They feed them ,clean the pen when I am not around. Its amazing how supportive they are. It's unfortunate you have to experience this.
That's so sad but not surprising. That's why a lot of people from the diaspora have problems with their relatives back home. They just want you to give them money but are not interested in taking care of businesses etc. This is a just a lesson, I wish you well for your next steps
So sorry for the loss, to me the only way to succeed in Africa in any form of business is to look for someone or people who have the same Passion for what you do. Though it's difficult to get someone to trust. Maybe next time is to put a video calls through to see or plant CCTV cameras in the farm. Best if luck Bro
that will come with time. I am very keen on recruiting underprivileged young people. A lot of them come with different personal problems that I have to work on with them while training them in farming at the same time.

Sorry brother, I share your sentiments. Same reason why I don’t deal with religious folks when it comes to investments especially in Ghana. Most of them are really really lazy and attributes everything to some God. I had a similar experience , don"t give up , but one thing i learned from case is anything you do ,you must be around to care for your business at least 75% of the time.
I have not given up. Unfortunately, I can't be around that much since I'm working hard on moving onto a larger farm. This is capital intensive and requires me to be away making money to invest into the farm. That is why I hope someone would be sincere and forceful enough to see my vision and take care of the little farm, while we work to grow
Im suorry for you but i will advise you if you still want to rare snail go in for greenhouse snail farming what you did his just like imprisoned the snail that's why the mortality was great and employ a qualify farm manager to manage it
the whole snail farm is a backyard one, so cheap, easy and almost free. Have you checked the budget for a greenhouse? My videos are for starters who have no experience or are on low budget. So sad to hear my brother but I'm wondering what kind of arrangement or agreement you had with your caretaker. This doesn't have anything to do with religion, it's pure human attitude. We can also give examples of our relatives in abroad who left investment in the care of people here who did well in managing it only for them to be repayed with ingratitude. Considering the economic situation in this country you simply can commit someone to take care of an investment without any form of compensation. This was not a commercial undertaking. Additionally, I have well paid employees doing my real farm business and with those once I have issues too. So its not a matter of compensation. So sad to hear my brother but I'm wondering what kind of arrangement or agreement you had with your caretaker. This doesn't have anything to do with religion, it's pure human attitude. We can also give examples of our relatives in abroad who left investment in the care of people here who did well in managing it only for them to be repayed with ingratitude. Considering the economic situation in this country you simply can commit someone to take care of an investment without any form of compensation. I believe there trustworthy people here to handle such things with care and commitment but it can't be mere word of promise for a brighter future. May God help you to recover speedily from the loss.
@@samobeng1985 if you listened carefully to what I said or watch the entire video, I made the snail farm for their own benefit; either to consume at home or sell to generate income for themselves. This was not a commercial undertaking. Additionally, I have well paid employees doing my real farm business and with those once I have issues too. So its not a matter of compensation. I was addressing the fact that MAJORITY Ghanaians USE Religion to justify LAZINESS, NEGLECT and their WICKEDNESS. I wasn't going after God. Even bible talks about "not all who mention the name of God will enter the Kingdom"
