Connected to the high-end Sandton City shopping centre, this upscale high-rise hotel is 5 minutes' walk from the Sandton Convention Centre and 7 minutes' walk from trains at Sandton Station.
Warm, African-themed rooms feature tea and coffeemaking equipment, iPod docks and satellite TV. Wi-Fi and minibars are free. Suites add lounges, and penthouses offer floor-to-ceiling windows with telescopes.

Very much the Sun hotel group look....but very 70's, 80's. Somehow it seems that the old look can only go so far as to make modern changes and updates and then it ends up looking like this....a complete miss match and the pool deck looks cluttered with all the architectural clutter they used to try and make it look modern. I have to say I am a bit disappointed. Now I know why they sometimes demolish buildings and build new.....from the outside it seems a waste to us but now I realize that you can only do facelifts to a point and then it is time to start from scratch.
