These don't particularly go with Bedfordview'lifestyle. Like you said, it would be multiple times more in Sandhurt, which lends itself to apartment living. It's a stunning apartment.

LOL Amazing country, culture and people! Best decision ever. Sure, one needs to be vigilant (especially at night), but living in a safe neighbourhood or lifestyle estate already takes care of a lot of security issues. ANY large metropolitan area in the world will have its security challenges, but that would definitely not be a reason to avoid South Africa altogether. (Regarding this particular property - not only is it located in a safe shopping centre, it's the penthouse, which has a number of security layers before reaching it. Security is the least of your worries here.) My 2 cents.
