It’s just fiberglass muffler packing lol, that just means your muffler is blown out and needs to be replaced lol

Someone needs a new muffler. The mesh holding the fiberglass packing has rusted away and the fiberglass is escaping. On motorcycles we repack the fiberglass occasionally.

That's muffler packing, made from fiberglass fibers, you should not be breathing that stuff in! Your wife's car might be a little louder now to!

Haven’t noticed a difference in sound, so I guess we’ll just keep it as is. My wife’s is relieved though. ;)

I think so. 98% of it. The rest will be source for the sweet unique smell burned in the muffler while driving to remind me of this special day. 😆
