I really love both of his style, his more rnb/ pop style but his soulful music always hits differently, it’s more smooth, more explicit more grown, it’s really vibey and relaxing, I was wondering when he signed to h1ghr if he would still release stuff under Def and I’m glad he still does it.
We don’t know the whereabouts but we know since GOT7 left JYPE that they’re linked to Warner Music Korea, They distribute their group’s music but as for their solos I don’t know how they handled it, but it seems like under JayB it’s distributed by H1ghr music ( CJNM that is the distributor I believe) but he might has signed a contract for his releases under his « Def » persona. His whole EP is really soothing, if you liked this one you’re gonna enjoy it.

I asked on Twitter what were we gonna get from Def's new Love album before it was released.
Was it gonna be like Musiq Soulchild's Love? is he gonna go that route?
Hell yeah, he did!
As for the JP, u know he resigned from H1gher and AOMG, right?
And, I'm sure it had nothing to do with H1ghr Music's parent company, CJ ENM, acquiring an American company, Endeavor Content, just a few weeks after he stepped down.

No, cuz jayb is already a producer and he's in Offshore team since 2016.
Øffshore is a Koreancrew composed of 9 members: iHwak, MirrorBOY, HNMR, Royal Dive, Jomalxne, RoseInPeace, Def. and Junny. Offshore made many music for popular korean boygroup music.
He already made RnB music under the name def. It was released on soundcloud but now it's released on his youtube channel.
I'm sorry to break it to you but He is not inspired by baekhyun.
Jayb made his own music and he's been makin R&B music since 2016 long before baekhun 😂
Even exo's kai hmm is produce by one of the offshore members called Junny.
Light by Wannaone is produce by some of the offshore crew (iHwak and RoyalDive)
