I hear the regret and the sentimental gratefulness for having shared an encounter of a sort, where hers was his and his was hers, be it in a brief dream, now over. I think a siren would half want you to crash on the rocks, come to some demise, or something nuts, but I don’t hear that in her voice whatsoever.
