I think I’m the minority here as someone who didn’t really like the song on the Snyder Cut initially. I came here to understand what this song is and now I understand why it’s in the movie. IMO, they should’ve put subtitles during the scene. It would’ve made the audience more aware of what this song is and would’ve made the transition to a grieving Martha Kent all the more impactful.
I agree and disagree. Yes, it would have been cool to understand the words, but the way it is sung gets the point across of a true sadness and love she feels for him

I feel he chose Iceland out of our all places due to Icelandic people believing in elves (similar to the LotR elves). Aquaman's presence among them fits the description of elves more than gods like Zeus.
