Halibut Derby Drift Day

The 2016/2017 Halibut Derby is Officially underway! This was the first big flatty caught for this year's derby coming in at 17.5 lbs! Come on out and join us to try your hand on one of our drift days and get on the leader board!
Dana Wharf Sport fishing and Whale Watching was started in 1958 by Don Hansen, running several sport fishing boats off the San Clemente Pier. He Moved the operation to Dana Point Harbor when it opened in 1971, this was where the West Coast Whale Watching and Sport Fishing industry originated. Today Dana Wharf sits in the heart of the busy, flourishing Dana Point harbor and continues to be owned and operated by the Hansen family.
