This EP/LP will forever be the soundtrack of my 2020 lockdown. Listening to this while breathing clean air because the whole world was forced to slow down a bit, mother nature healing for a brief moment, no aircraft noise, pollution at record low levels, unseasonably fine weather, being able to hear the birdsong normally drowned out by traffic noise, then coming in from my walk in nature to listen to Khruangbin.
Playin’ this in my ‘ol Ford truck, watching the sun set is the best feeling I do believe I’ve had I damn long time. Ain’t nuthin’ better havin’ your old lady sitting next you feeling these feelings. They paying respect to living in these times. Here’s to making memories through music and holding on to what’s real.
