Hi chad, which SUV do you think worth the price and deserve the popularity? Mazda Cx-5 or Lexus Nx200? I know it's not in the same range but I would like to hear from you, thanks
Both are top choices. I think the best way to buy a Lexus is to get one just off a 2/3 year lease where the condition is like new, but the price is 40% less than new.
Hi Chad, I previously had a 2011 RX 350 which is a 6 cylinder. I'm considering an NX but don't want to compromise the quickness/responsiveness. What do you think?
@@chadhaire1711 Hey thank you ☺️, I was hoping that wasn't the case, I technically don't need the speed (or even the space) since it's just myself using the vehicle.
@@chadhaire1711 when I was growing up my favorite movie was with Jack black when he was just in his white undies the whole movie so I guess as a kid I walked around like that and it became a habit
German vehicles are fine as long as you have a factory warranty...when the warranty is gone the vehicle needs to be gone--and in a hurry or the repair shop bills will bankrupt you! Not so much with Lexus.....they seem to run forever. If you trade in every 4 years shouldn't be an issue though.
chad haire I’m certainly buying the next generation NX when it releases. I hope that unlike German cars, first year redesigns of Lexus aren’t problematic.
chad haire This is certainly an opinion, just like saying this car only comes in black because I don’t like other colors, or this car only comes with 20” rims because 17” rims are for poor people. Statements like that undermine your credibility as a reviewer, and create a feeling you didn’t do your research thoroughly. You’ve driven rx450h and mdx hybrid among others, and I have a hard time believing you don’t think they deserve recognition. Thanks for your reply. Good reviews!
To me hybrid cars are in a totally different category and totally different buyers. When I test a hybrid car I don't mention they come with other gas non hybrid engines so when i test a standard car I usually don't mention it comes in a hybrid. My videos are too long as it is....and frankly I think hybrids are a sad joke and would never own one....and don't like promoting them. I WILL test them when offered though, and give them a fair shake in my videos for those who want them.
well I have the Mitsubishi outlander electric/hybrid and Honda electric Clarity due next month, so be sure to tell your friends who love their hybrid cars.....
I think Toyota-Lexus are great for engineering reliable vehicles, but I am not a fan of their style department. The alien snow plow look dominates Lexus and the evil fish from hell look dominates the Toyota line, featuring the new Camry that actually has gills. When you were a boy, did you dream of someday owning a car with gills? I didn't.
no but I did dream of a car that didn't break down in the repair shop all the time and all the Euro brands fall apart when the warranty goes out. The Lexus RCf is still a great looking car
Since we both value reliability, how do you rate the 2018 Hyundai vehicles in that regard? Statistics claim they are now equal in reliability to Honda. Do you believe that? I can buy a big 2018 Hyundai Sonata SE for $18,500 with the excellent discounts that Hyundai gives, but a Honda Civic LX would cost me over $19,000 with the lousy discounts Honda dealers give. Are the Korean cars worthy?
Korean cars are not on the level of Honda or Toyota but still better than most Euro or American names. Have a great warranty. And yes the koreans discount more. But for $17,000 see my video on the Toyota Yaris iA that is made by Mazda...it is a great little car--one of the best i have driven in 2017 and got 40 mpg in the real world driving.....watch it..
How many miles does the nx covers from F to E tank
dont remember
@@chadhaire1711 do you think a full thank can go 350miles ?

awesome review, thanks
I love when you started pricing the parts. Hilarious, you!
this is an older video......come watch my newer videos..510 in all....
I have 700 miles on mine and constantly get 19.6 mpg. Did it take time to break for your Lexus nx ?
only keep cars for a week--long gone
Hi Chad, I previously had a 2011 RX 350 which is a 6 cylinder. I'm considering an NX but don't want to compromise the quickness/responsiveness. What do you think?
NX is smaller and slower
@@chadhaire1711 Hey thank you ☺️, I was hoping that wasn't the case, I technically don't need the speed (or even the space) since it's just myself using the vehicle.
Great video Mr Chad ... certainly your unique style is appealing for some .... hard to disagree with u on too much though .... thanks for the videos !
This video is a bit old...I have newer Lexus videos 2018--2019 models to watch.
What’s a dirt shelf good for if I hop in barefoot with undies only
why undies?
@@chadhaire1711 when I was growing up my favorite movie was with Jack black when he was just in his white undies the whole movie so I guess as a kid I walked around like that and it became a habit
Hey Chad, I'm really considering this as my next car. How much cheaper would this car be to maintain than a BMW X3?

Lexus is pretty reliable and quality is far better,,
Listen to chad, he knows a LOT about being bankrupt.
Would this car be more comfortable than a 2011 Honda Accord sedan. That’s the car I have at present.
Did you use ECO mode on that fuel economy test?
Great video by the way
No eco
Now that looks good
Have you done the new Honda odysseys?
did a video on that 3 months ago--look it up
These nx300 need a v6 3.6L engine for sure with 8 speed auto , NO TURBO. That 4cly with turbo to slow no power. And those bump test it hard vs rx350.
This is not “the only engine offered” - there is a hybrid version -300h
hybrids are the bastard child--don't count.

Hi chad nice video can you please do a video on Kia stinger and try and do live chat video
Stinger not available at the moment.
Update--a Stinger is being shipped to me in about a month..so stay tuned
Rear legroom--it is very tight for SUV.... Cargo is tiny...
its a compact--what did you expect?
doesn't seem like its 10 TO 15 grand better than a crv or cx-5 or tuscon
to you perhaps no but to me perhaps yes...far better
great review tho. I noticed on your tiguan review one of the hi-way mpg tests was in the mid 30's. was that an aberration?
what part of the video?
chad haire about the 10 :30 mark
That was at 67 mph cruising----hardly a real highway test....at 75 mph + 28 was the norm...
