It's been more than a month since I started this channel and it was originally about instrumental accompaniments and music analysis. I just want to announce to all my viewers that since the charity I'm working with has a new project which aims to make music education accessible even to financially challenged people, I've decided to include the milestones we'll make as a charity group in the videos that I'll be uploading. Along with that are music analyses, and some slices of my life as a musician, talking about the things I do outside music. Thank you for your support!
Amazing! Great analysis! Underrated content. I look forward to your future work. Bach never ceases to amaze with the secrets he leaves in his music for the careful observer like yourself to find. It is the ultimate act of charity for you to share it with us in such a convenient manner.
Wow I never realised the descending semiquavers derived from the subject! 🤣 lol, but anyway I really like this video, this fugue makes me so joyful whenever I play it. I absolutely cannot wait for you to analyse no. 24 (if you are planning on doing it!), one of my favourite fugues 😊💚
I still can't figure out the contrapuntal/harmonic logic of bar 8, beat 1. No matter how you slice it, it is an unresolved dissonance. I've only come up with two hypotheses: 1) It's a first inversion seventh chord that tonicizes G major in beat 2 but for some reason the 7th wasn't lowered to C natural because it sounds cool? 2) It's really supposed to be a C natural and Bach forgot to include the accidental
Orlando Aponte mate, I believe that the purity of just closing your eyes and appreciating the music is obstructed by your unwavering focus on small theoretical details; Bach did not intend for this to happen mate! Shit!

Thank you so much for this heartwarming comment. I'll keep doing my best to provide better analyses soon!

Hi thank you so much! Of course! This series actually aims to analyze all fugues from WTC this year. Thank you for your support, Hannah

Orlando Aponte does it really matter? Who cares?
@@MildSatire Of course it matters. And anyone who is interested in the subject of counterpoint (pun intended) would care
Orlando Aponte can't you just enjoy the music instead of worrying about those fine details?
@@MildSatire Do you actually believe that because I concern myself with theoretical details that I don't enjoy the music?

esta es muy facil y muy simple
